Make a call 教学设计

陈霞 教学目标：

1. 能会用英语打电话。

2. 鼓励学生与人交流，提高英语学习兴趣。

3. 能在平时生活中注意中西文化的不同。

教学重难点：能会用英语通过电话与人交流。

教学准备：视频 教学过程：

（一）Lead-in Ask the students to look at the screen and listen to the talk. Then ask:“what are they doing ?”。 S:“They are making a call.”。

（二）After the talk. He teacher tells the students how to make a call in English, then show the pattern on the screen. 1.介绍自己； This is...(speaking ) 我是... 2.询问对方是不是自己要找的那一位; Is that ...? 你是...吗？

3.问对方是哪位: Who's that? 你是哪位？

4.打电话问某人在不在: Hello! May I speak to ...? 你好！我能和...通话吗？

Hello! Is...in? 你好！...在吗？

5. 打电话时，要找的人不在，我们可以捎口信；

Would you please take a message? 6. 电话挂断之前要和对方道别：Goodbye! /Bye-bye! 再见！

（三）Ask the students to make a call in pairs with the patterns. Eg: Xie: Hello! Is that Liu Jiangrong? Liu: Hello! This is Liu Jiangrong. Who's that? Xie: This is Xie Xuyang speaking Liu: OH! Hi, Xie Xuyang. What can I do for you? Xie: It's about our English homework.

You can know how to use the pattern : May I speak to …, please? Would you please take a message? ) Eg: Jim: Hello! Mike: Sorry, Jim: Where is he now? Mike: He went to the bookshop.

Jim: Mike: Sure. Jim: Tomorrow is Sunday. I’ll go to the zoo with him. Mike: Jim: At three thirty in the afternoon. Mike：OK，I’ll tell him when he’s back. Jim: Thank you. Mike: Bye. A. Would you please take a message? B. When will you go? C. May I speak to Jack, please? D. He’s not at home. E. Goodbye. (点评) （五）Summary：
