The sleeping prince
I. 教学目标
A. 知识技能
1. 能在故事中理解并能听读情景词汇:castle , path, key, lock, dust, prince, pond .并能在故事中感知hurry up, quickly ,right now. 2. 能理解故事内容,模仿故事中的人物进行朗读表演。
B.
方法与过程:
1. 通过体验式学习感知故事,激发学习故事的兴趣和热情。
2. 通过分解故事内容,培养学生认真观察图片并捕捉信息的能力,提高学生自主学习的能力。
3. 通过合作学习等形式,使学生能分角色正确朗读,表演故事。
C.
情感态度:
1. 让学生懂得礼貌待人,不懒惰,尊重别人才能被人尊重。
2. 培养学生的团队精神和合作意识。
II. 教学重难点
理解故事大意,模仿表演故事片段。认识故事中出现的新词新句并能简单应用。
Step1
Warming up. A.
All right, boys and girls. You know this is the 1st class today. And there are many teachers across the country attending our class. Let’s say hello to them. (Polite children!)And before the class shall we sing a song for welcoming all of the teachers! Here we go! B.
1. What a lovely song. Which film is it from? 2. Is it a detective / romantic film? What is it?
3. Whom does it talk about? 2 Ss? Are they t-s/d-s? Who are they?
4. What are their names? Who’s who? What’s on Elsa’s head?
Step2
Presentation. A.
When I was a kid, my mummy always kissed me awake in the morning. I am a sweet princess in my mummy’s eyes. What about you? We’re loved by our family! We are the princess and prince in our family. B.
Today we are going to talk about another prince. Here he is! What do you want to know about the sleeping prince? Where, Who, Why, …? Let’s get into the story. Maybe you can find the answer in it. Step3

图1: Look, here come 2 girls. Their names are Jenny & Claudia. Do you know who is Jenny and who is Claudia? One day Jenny & Claudia pilot a plane flying in the sky. Suddenly Jenny says: What’s that down there? Let me have a look, Claudia says: It looks like a castle. 图2: Can they get to the castle? Why? (Look. There's a path over there.) Cool, there’s a path to the castle. So they walk through the path and come to the castle. 图3. Can they go into the castle? (The key is in the lock.) Ok, let's go in. What happens next? Don’t forget the prince. Focus on here please! Is there sth happened between the monster & prince? I like your story, give me 5 ! Big hands ! Step4
Drill.
图4. Now let’s go into the castle! Wow, is the castle clean and beautiful?
What’s on the door, on the wall? Spider webs! So Jenny says: When they go inside the castle, what could they see everywhere? dust Is there anybody in the castle? ( There's a man in the bed) 图5. Who is the man? (Oh,it’s a prince.)How do they know?
Is the prince dead? What’s he doing? (He’s fast asleep.)
What’s wrong with the prince? Why is he sleeping alone in the castle? (讨论) ate an apple, then fell asleep? There came a witch? I don’t know. Maybe you are right. 图6图7:So how to wake up a prince? Are they both willing to kiss the prince?
Ok, read in pairs now. 图8:Who kisses the prince at last? What would happen next? Does the prince wake up? Do they get along together?
Can you imagine/guess? Are your thoughts really true? Step5

Which prince do you prefer? What’s the difference? (h, q,) Why? 图11图12:What else does the prince want? Who can try Prince Rupert? *2
Practice with 4 kids. Guessing: Will the girls help Prince Rupert this time?
图13图14:Do the girls get his clothes for him?What do they do?
Then they wave goodbye. How about Prince Rupert? (Nobody hears him.) How does he feel now?
问:All right. The story ends here. Two girls fly away and Prince Rupert is alone in the castle again. Do you like the prince? What do you think of him? 卷:It’s time for a quiz. Please take out your paper. Let’s check the answer. 复述:Today we learned a story named the sleeping prince. Try to retell the whole story in your group. You could follow the clue if necessary. Good job! 任务:1. Do you still remember those qs at the beginning? Who raised this q? Why is the prince sleeping in the castle? Did you find the answer in the story? Try to guess what happened before the story. 2. And do you like the ending of the story? If yes, go on the story.
3. If no, change it into another ending.
