本课的教学内容是外研社2011课标版（三起）三年级下册Module 2 Unit 1 They’re monkeys. 本模块以识别并描述动物为话题，Unit 1是第一课时，通过老师带学生参观动物园，呈现了询问动物、说明动物、简单描述个别动物特点的语言结构。本单元的语言功能是由呈现旧知“What’s this ? It’s a /an...”结合交互式电子白板的克隆镜像功能，向同学们呈现多个数量的动物，引导同学们运用新知句型“What are they ? They’re...”来识别并描述动物。同时让学生在情境中学习语言，使用语言，增强学习的趣味性，也极易激发学生的学习积极性。

学情分析

一般特征：三年级学生对英语学习有着强烈的好奇心和浓厚的兴趣，他们模仿力强，记忆力好，有兴趣参与各项教学活动，有用英语进行交流的愿望。

初始能力：学生已经学习了有关动物的单词,如cat, dog, bird, panda,会用“What’s this ? It’s a /an...”描述单个事物。

信息素养：学生能根据知识的需要，熟练的运用交互式电子白板。

教学目标

根据教学内容和学生年龄特点，有效运用信息技术及游戏、竞赛等活动，争取达到以下目标：

1.通过学习使80%的学生能够听懂、说出并准确认读单词: they, they’re =they are, monkey, all, zoo, tiger, lion, elephant, fat.

2.通过学习使90%的学生能听懂、理解、并能准确读出新句型：

What are they? They’re monkeys / tigers / lions / elephants.

3.通过学习使70%的学生能运用以下句型描述相关的情景图：

What’s this? It’s a…

4.通过听动物的声音猜动物、听说唱课文韵律诗和做游戏，体会学习英语的乐趣。

5.通过学习增进同学们与动物之间的感情，培养同学们热爱动物、保护动物的意识。

解决方法及策略：

1.利用交互式电子白板播放chant和Flash动画创设情境并出示有关动物的图片、声音以及词汇等方面的信息。

2.利用旧知What’s this ? It’s a /an...来引出What are they ?They’re...通过三个挑战练习以及创设参观动物园的情景来进一步操练核心句型。

教学难点：

能将动物相应数量和问句之间建立联系，并能熟练问答。

解决方法及策略：
