教材分析

Unit 4 What’s the best movie theater? 本单元承接第三单元的比较级，需要学生掌握最高级的定义和使用方法。要求学生能够正确使用形容词和副词的最高级来造句。同时熟练运用最高级和比较级来描述场景，并且说明原因。本课作为第四单元的最后一个课时，是在学生已经熟练掌握最高级的定义以及用法的前提下，加强对于句子的把控能力，使用最高级以及运用合理的写作方式完成一篇对于环境场景的描述作文。

二、学情分析

八年级学生英语基础已达到中段水平，同时具备一定听说能力，本课是这个单元最后一个课时，学生是在已经掌握最高级和比较级的前提下完成一个写作的输出要求，课堂中有部分学生熟悉的元素和场景也是让学生比较感兴趣的一个话题。同时通过对于文章顺序的重新编排，培养学生的思辨能力和批判能力。

三、教学目标

1、语言知识目标：通过文章，已读促写，要求学生正确运用最高级从不同角度描述地点，并且对于作文表达有一个全局观。让学生掌握写作方法和作文布局，最后达到作文句型正确、结构完整合理，描述清晰到位的目的。

2.情感目标：1.通过重新调整文章顺序，让学生拥有更好的思辨能力和批判精神，敢于打破固有思路，挖掘新的可能性，在生活中学会多维度思考和分析问题。

2.让学生了解最高级的评判标准取决的个人观点，建筑物体本身不具备感情，正是因为有了不同的情感背景，才赋予每个地方不同的精神寄托，以此告诉孩子要有一双发现美和观察美的眼睛。

四、教学重难点

1. 教学重点

1.掌握形容词最高级的表达。

2.掌握句型has the best ..../is the best because/is better than .. 3以及如何运用最高级造句并说明原因。

2. 教学难点:

如何运用最高级描述一个地点，写出一篇完整的作文。

五、教学方法

1．“Teach English in English”: 即新课标倡导的“用英语教英语”创造英语课堂良好的听的环境，让学生充分感知，积极体验，大胆实践，把握用英语交际的机会，鼓励学生大胆开口说英语。

2．突出重点，突破难点：通过口语训练、讨论、游戏等多种形式反复操练重点句型，巩固所学知识，提高灵活运用能力，通过操练中地点的变化和幻灯片展示帮助学生更好地领会最高级的表达

3．任务型教学法：倡导体验参与，培养自主学习能力。

4．借助多媒体辅助教学，形象、生动，使课堂容量相对增加，给学生提供更多的语言实践机会，有利于综合语言运用能力的提高。
