一、教学分析

1.

文本分析：

《go for it》教材，八年级上册十单元If you go to the party, you'll have a great time! Section A 1a-2d 部分是以如何做决定，预测这个决定可能产生的结果、后果为话题和功能的听说课型。应重点关注学生对做决定步骤及语言表达的掌握，尤其某一决定可能出现的结果，以锻炼和提升学生在该话题下的听、说能力，通过话轮滚话轮，最后学生能够整体输出。

学情分析：

（1）已学内容：学生能联系本话题相关的词汇、短语及句型，如做决定所涉及的when, where, who, what, how等因素，能够用情态动词should提出建议。

（2）学习困难：引入、呈现及表达对未来事件的假设、推断相关的词汇和句型：第一条件句if...will...句型、will 表达将来时的用法及情态动词should的使用。2.如何理清提议，决定和后果之间的关系，做到说话有逻辑。

二、教学目标：

1. 语言知识及能力目标：

1) 能掌握以下单词：

meeting, video, organize, potato chips, chocolate, upset, taxi, advice 能掌握以下新功能句型：

① ─I think I’ll go to the party with Karen and Anna.

─If you go to the party, you’ll have a great time!

② ─What will happen if they have the party today?

─Half the class won’t come.

2) 能了解以下语法：

掌握含if条件状语从句的主从复合句的用法。

3) 能用if 引导的条件状语从句作出假设，用will谈论结果, 后果或者推论。

学习因果关系的表达和做出合理的建议和正确的决定。谈论自己的感受，同时使学生在英语交流中注意并观察他人的情感。由于本课时的话题贴近学生生活，符合他们热爱休闲的心理，可以提高他们学习英语的兴趣，积极参与英语实践活动。

解决思路：以“如何帮助美国交换生在成都度过圣诞节”为主任务，以Christmas party 这一分支为示范，用目标语言来讨论如何做决定，呈现不同的话轮，话轮滚话轮，呈现其他分支活动，最终讨论出如何筹备这次圣诞活动。

Ⅰ. Lead-in

Play a song to lead in the Christmas task and

arouse the students’ interest in learning. T: Do you know the song?

What is it about? When is it?

Ⅱ. Presentation 1．A mind-map.

Use a mind-map to help the students think about what the exchange students usually do on Christmas Day. T: What do they usually do on Christmas Day? Ss : Have a party, go shopping, buy a gift... 2．Show some pictures to present new structure:

Lead the students to talk about Christmas preparations, such as food, clothes, transportation and so on. A:What should we ...? Should we... ? B: I think I'll ... 3.1a

Ask the students to finish 1a to check if they master the target language. Ⅲ. Listening

Pre-listening Use the mind-map to help the students predict the possible consequences of the decisions. Take the “wear jeans” as an example. 2.

(2) Let Ss read the phrases and questions below. Tell Ss that they should answer the questions with the proper phrases.
