6. Teaching Procedures Step1 Greetings. Greet the Ss as usual. Step2 Lead in T: Watch a video and answer the questions on the screen.

Step3 Presentation Read the words in box in 3a. Fill in the blanks and then check the answers. Read this passage together. Ask and answer about the passage(on students’ paper).

Step4 Pre—Writing T：Can you think of a favorite food from your hometown? Ask Ss to write down the food name LC Cool Noodles and then make a list of ingredients. Ask Ss to discuss how to make the food in the group.

Step5 While—Writing Ss write a recipe for LC Cool Noodles.

Step 6 Post—Writing Ss show their writings, others make comments. Step 8 Homework Write a passage about the way to make your favorite food (such as beef noodles, dumplings, zongzi, mooncakes, egg tomato soup…)
