Step1

Greeting & warm up

Use the pictures of some animals to review the words and sentences in Unit 1:

Step2、Lead in & presentation

Show students two pictures of the man in activity 1, present the meaning and pronunciation of the new words: man、tall、short. 2、

Lead students look at the picture in activity 2, students listen to the tape, try to understand the words and sentences. 3、

Present some pictures of animals to present the new words: small-big、big-fat; and the sentences: This…is…

/That…is…

Students listen to the tape and read after it, try to imitate the pronunciation. 5、

Students read the text with partners, then role play the dialog and read together.
