教学过程

Step1 Warm-up Greet the class as usual and check the homework.

Step 2 Presentation 1. Teach the new words. Show the new words on the blackboard. Ask students to repeat them. And make sure everyone know the meanings. 2. Teach Activity 3a This activity focuses on some important vocabulary learned in this unit. First, ask students to have a quick look at the pictures and the passage to say what the passage is about. Then, show a picture of Yunnan rice noodles on the screen. Ask students to talk about this kind of food. Give students several minutes to fill in the blanks. As they work, move around the room checking the progress. Finally, invite a student to recall how to retell how to make rice noodles with his textbook closed the learning efficiency. Step 3 Practice Give students enough time to do this writing practice. As they work, move around the room monitoring the work. Later, invite some students to present their work and choose the most favorite food. 2. Teach Activity 4 This activity aims to practice students’ expression ability and imaginative ability.

First, lead students to read the instruction to understand how to do this task. Put students into groups of four. A pair of them make up a crazy recipe, the other pair draw pictures about the food according to the recipe. Give them enough time to do this task. As they work, mover around the room checking the progress and offering help as needed. Later, invite some students to present their pictures to check if they understood the instructions well. Step 4 Consolidation Self Check This section aims to consolidate the target language learned in this unit and check the teaching efficiency. Ask students to read the instruction to know what to do and how to do them. Give them enough time to do the task individually. Later check the answers together.
