2.能熟练掌握中国、加拿大、美国、英国、澳大利亚这五个国家的名称、地图、首都、语言、国旗、名胜古迹或代表。

3.能根据情境和图片说出单词和句子。

4.能在设计的情景下进行简单的英语交流。

5.了解这五个国家的地理知识及人文知识。

教学重点：能熟练掌握中国、加拿大、美国、英国、澳大利亚这五个国家的名称、地图、首都、语言、国旗、名胜古迹或代表。

具：录音机、磁带、图片

教学过程：

1. Greetings: Hello, class. How are you? 2. Free talk: What day is today?

How is the weather today?

What do you like to do?

How do you go to school?

What does your mother do?

What does your father do? 3. Lesson hook: Today, we′ll review Unit 2. 4. First, let ′s have a word competition. (课本73页Unit2单词默写) 5. Now, let ′s chant. (课本29页Part3) 6. Group-work.

T: Do you love to travel? Ss: Yes. T: Where do you want to go? S1: Beijing. S2: The U.S.

T: I love to travel, too. Today, we ′ll travel to our country and some English-speaking countries. But we need a guide. A guide. See? If you were the guide, how will you introduce the country? Now discuss with your partners. Each group introduces one country. I ′ll give you some cards. In the cards, there is some information to help you. (给学生五分钟时间讨论，教师行走于各组中，及时给予学生帮助。) 7.各组展示。每组选一名代表上台展示。
