Task 1: Read the whole passage. Skim for the main idea of each paragraph.

Task 2: Read paragraph 1 and paragraph 3 again. Scan for the three important moments in Mickey’s life.

Task 3: Read paragraph 2 carefully, and tell the reasons of why Mickey Mouse became so popular. Ⅲ.Post-reading

Task 1: Finish the exercise mind-map.

Task 2: Discuss with the group members, then say something about Mickey Mouse.

Task 3: Show some information about my favorite cartoon character, and let them guess who he is.
