Watch a video and arouse the students’ interest in making food. 2. Ask and answer how to make a banana milk shake in pairs, using “How many…” and “How much…”. While Learning 1. Individual work: Have you had any traditional food in Yunnan? What is it? 2. Watch a video and know more about how to make Yunnan rice noodles. 3. Do activity 3a. 4. Group work: Let’s make Yunnan rice noodles ourselves and try to sum up the steps.

Ingredients: lettuce, chicken, chicken soup, rice noodles, an egg, other things.

Steps: Firs/t second/ then/ finally Post Learning Group work: Write a recipe of our city’s traditional food.

V. Homework 1. Write a recipe of making your favourite food by yourself. 2. Make a fruit milk shake for your family with your parents’ help and tell us the steps tomorrow. (optional)
