一、Teaching analysis:

本课是第二模块第二单元，本课的教学内容是Daming, , Sam 在马戏团遇到了两个小丑和猴子。在语言点上，主要以句型This/That…is tall/short/small/big/fat/thin.为重点，结合以前学过的句型What’s this ? What’s that?让同学们感受this\that远近方面的区别。

Aims on the emotion，attitude and value. (1)To foster Ss’conciousness of good cooperation and proper competition. (2)To foster Ss’interest of learning English. 2.Aims on the knowledge and skills. New vocabulary:small,big,tall,short,thin and man. New structures:This/That...is tall/short/big/small.

3.Aims on the process and strategy. (1)

To do the right actions through teacher’s instructions. (2)

To develop Ss’abilities of listening and speaking. (3)

To foster Ss’abilities of communication and their innovation. 四．Teaching key-points: (1)To help Ss to understand the instructions through body language.

(2)To enable Ss to study in pairs and cooperate skillfully.

T: Oh, they met a stranger. How’s he? Let’s see.

How’s he? (他怎么样？) Let’s listen and draw key words.(找关键词)

Look, he’s tall. Now he’s short. (意图：通过引导让学生自己根据听到的说出生词，锻炼孩子准确听的能力。) 3） T:

教学生词步骤：1)T教: tall:

all- tall

short: sh- short 并师生比身高做示范。 2）学生小组内并选词拼读。3）T提问。

4)Look at the trees and monkeys,then have a contrast.( 引出fat and thin,tall and short 并总结巩固)
