Step 3.Presentation

1、Show the students a picture. Ask and answer some questions : What kind of TV show is it? It’s a game show.

The game shows are exciting,so I love them.（Draw a smiling face）

How do you like the game show? Help them to answer. 2、Show more pictures, and learn some new words : talent show，talk show ,news, sports show ,sitcom,soap opera Draw some faces on the blackboard and help them to learn some phrases: love /like/ don’t mind/don’t like /can’t stand 3、Summary the words and read these phrases twice together. Give the students 1 minute to remember the words.Then play a game. 4、Make conversations in pairs.Then choose two pairs to show their conversations. 5、Practice listening. Listen to Lin Hui and Sally’s conversation. Number the TV shows [1-5]in the order in 2a. Listen again. Complete the sentences in 2b. Check the answers and explain some key points.（learn from,plan to do,like to do）

6、Read the conversation in 3d and match the persons with their favourite shows. Read again and find out the key point.（expect to） Role-play the conversation. Step 4.Practice Work in groups and do a survey,fill in the table and show us the result of their discussion.Choose two students to show their articles.
