一、学习目标

知识目标: 1.掌握词汇：future，environment，planet，building，play a part。

2.掌握there be句型,了解fewer less more 的用法。

3.掌握will/won’t的用法及一般将来时的表达方法。

能力目标：

1.预测未来。

2.学会陈述表达各自观点。

情感目标： 教育学生要热爱生活、热爱社会，为社会发展尽自己一份力。

二.教学重点、难点

重点：

1.掌握will/won’t及fewer less more 的用法。

2.学会一般将来时的表达方法。

难点：运用一般将来时完成任务。

三、教学策略的选择与设计

依据《新英语课程标准》，从学生和教学内容的实际出发，本课采用以下教法：

1.游戏教学法，调动学生的学习兴趣，做到积极竞争自主学习。

2.情景教学法，创设或模拟生活场景，让学生创造性地进行交流。

3.合作学习法，培养合作意识，互相启发，互相帮助。

四、教学资源与工具设计

新目标英语八年级（下）课本；《Will people have robots?》section A2d-3c 部分PPT课件；录音等。

五、教学过程

Stage 1：Leading in(2 minutes) 1.Greet the class and sing a short song《we will.we will》

2.Use questions to lead the lesson：

Do you like money ? will people use money in one hundred years?... 3.Collect the Students’ answers and say something about their predictions. Stage 2: warming up (3 minutes) 1.Ask the students to answer and talk about: Will there be fewer trees? Will there be more people? Will there be world peace? Will kids study at home on computers?

Will books only be on computers? What will your life be like in ten years? 2.Students make a short conversation in pairs ,find the same of all sentences,sum up the structure of future tense . then go to 2d. Stage 3: Presentation 2d(10 minutes) 1.listen and correct pronunciation .Meanwhile answer the question. What is the book that Jill is reading about? 2.Read it carefully and fill in blanks What’s Jill doing? He’s reading a book about the . Jill thinks what the future will be like? Cities will be and . The environment will be . What can we do to save the earth? We should saving the earth. 3.Role-play the conversation. Stage 4:Practice (consolidate and expand .10 minutes) Work in group and play a game named “Happy Dictionary”

,encourage students to do it bravely ,after the

game choose the best one and sing a short song for them to encourage. Stage 5:Drawing and writing (To improve the practice.10 minutes) Teacher give a short example ,then encourage students to draw a simple picture or white down a picture of future world in 100 years .then Report it to the class Stage 6:summary（2 minutes）
