一、教学目标:
知识目标:1.学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇:boat, moon, wonderful. 2.学生能认读并听懂:the Dragon Boat Festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Spring Festival. 3.
能够使用句型:“What do you do
on…?We…and…”“What’s your favourite holiday? My favourite holiday is …”
技能目标:1.学生初步感知、理解、学习与三个节日有关的单词和词组。
2.学生能对下列句型进行简单的问答:
What’s your favourite holiday? My favourite holiday is_.
What do you do on the _______? We ______ and ______. 二、
情感态度:
1.通过学习,帮助学生体会中国传统节日的魅力,激发学生的民族
自尊心和自豪感,激发学生的生活情趣,热爱自己伟大的祖国,
2.通过创设情境,多种活动,培养孩子的多元智能。
三、教学重点:
1.掌握三种节日的表达,以及重点词汇boat,moon,wonderful 的灵活运用。
2.对句型What’s your favourite holiday?和 What do you do on the _______?进行简单地问答。] 四、教学难点:学生能运用词组进行交流,初步锻炼学生运用英语描述节日的能力。
五、学习策略:通过图片,歌曲,视频等多种途径,创设情境,让学生去学习,掌握,运用新知,轻松体验学英语的快乐,增强学生的语感,培养学生自主学习和合作学习的能力。针对本课进行简单地情景对话,角色扮演等语言交际能力。

七、教学过程
Step1: Warm-up Greeting: T: Before our class, let’s look at some pictures (PPT) T: OK. Just stop here. As you can see on these days, People needn’t go
to work. You needn’t go to school. We call them “holidays”. (Read it together)(ppt) T: Can you see these holidays in the U.S.? in the U.K.? S: No T: Where can you see these holidays? S: In China. T: Only Chinese people have these holidays. So we call them “special holidays in China”(板书) T:Today we will learn “lesson22 special holidays in China” read it together. 设计意图:让学生首先感知课题,以便更好的了解和接受新知识
Step2:New concept: Part1 T: First, let’s look at the context. Read it by yourself and try to find “how many holidays are there in the book? Begin! 设计意图:学生整体感知文章,明白这节课的整体内容是什么。
T: What holidays do you find? S: The Spring Festival. The Mid-Autumn Festival. The Dragon Boat Festival T: Now I will show some pictures. Tell us what holiday is it? The Spring Festival (read together/ read it one by one) What is another name for the Spring Festival? S: The Chinese New Year’s Day. T: We know New Year’s Day is on Jan 1st. But the Chinese New Year’s Day is different from New Year’s Day. When is it? S: It’s in January or February. Read “the Spring Festival”
T: Now look at the next picture, what holiday is it? Someone knows these words about it. Let’s look at these pictures. These pictures are related to the festival. Dragon: 1 What is it? 2. We know “dr” pronounce |dr| d,r,d,r |dr| |dr| Now let’s try to read these words “dress. drink”
Boat: T: Before reading it. Let’s read these words we have leant: coat, road . “oa” pronounce /eu/ How to read this word: boat 设计意图:语音的学习在课堂中穿插,让学生通过语音来读出生词,可以自然拼读。
This is a boat, too. But it looks like a dragon. It’s a dragon boat. This festival is the Dragon Boat Festival. (all of you read it one by one) T: Look at the new picture . what holiday is it? T: She knows about the Mid-Autumn Festival. Let’s learn more about it. Firstly. On these days the weather is windy and cool. What season is it?—autumn.
Now who can tell me what’s this?---- It’s a hand. Everyone has two hands. Do you know this finger’s name? It’s Mid-finger. What’s the meaning of mid? 中间
So Mid-Autumn means 中秋节
the Mid-Autumn Festival. Read it together Practice: Now let’s play a game.
