I. Duty report 1)

Work on 1d: 1. Tell Ss to listen to Vince and Andy’s conversation. Then circle Yes or No.

2. Play the recording for the Ss. Ss just listen for the first time. Then check the answer.

Work on 1e:

1. Ask students to read the phrases before listening again to find out why Vince can’t play tennis with Andy. Tell Ss after listening to the tape again they try to match Vince’s activities with the days in 1d.

(Teacher sends the task to student’s pads.) 2. Ss listen to the recording carefully and try to match Vince’s activities with the days.

(Students match the answer on the pads.)

3. Check the answers with the class.

VII. Role-play 1. Work in pairs. One is Andy and the other is Vince. Andy, invite Vince to play tennis.
