Students should know how to use superlatives to talk about their hometown and write. After studying target language, students are required to know the rules of superlatives and know how to write by using superlative degree.(本课时是人教版第四单元的最

后一课时复习与写作，本单元要求学生复习形容词或副词的最高级用法。在复习语法并进行

听说训练后，学生要能掌握最高级的用法和变化规则并进行写作输出。)

II. The analysis of the students(学情分析)

The students in my class are from different parts of China. Their English is so poor that some of them couldn’t understand what the teacher says in class.

This theme of this lesson is about “ beautiful Xingsha”, it is the town where we live now.This class I’ll guide them to review the grammar step by step so that they will feel grammar is not that difficult as they imagine. I’ll attract them to join in the listening and speaking practice, then guide them to try to finish the writing practice after that.（我班的同学来自于全国各地，他们的英语基础薄弱，部分同学都不明白老师在课堂上讲了什么。这节课的主题围绕“美丽星沙”这个话题。在这节课我会带领他们复习最高级，并让他们感觉语法并不是他们想象中那么难。因此我会吸引他们加入到课堂的听说活动中，之后引导他们进行写作的训练。）

To begin with, I’ll let students play an interesting game--the arm-wrestling.

Step2: Let’s review!-----Superlative(复习最高级) 1)

Let’s ask!

Review the superlatives by answering questions. Then practice. 2)

Let’s watch! Summarize the superlative degree by watching a micro class 3)

Let’s listen!

Listen to the tape and fill in the blanks. (利用问答的形式让同学们回顾最高级的变化规则并及时练习巩固。然后学生通过观看微课视频总结归纳了最高级的基本概念和用法. 听力为我的家乡的一段介绍。听力要求学生听出文中出现的最高级。)

Step3:Let’s talk!----Beautiful Xingsha Discuss the best thing/place in Xingsha with their group members. Then give a reporter. Try to find out the beauty around us.（小组活动，讨论星沙最美的地方与事物，为后面的作文书写做准备。）

Step4:Let’s write! Write the best thing/place in Xingsha in 8 minutes.

Step5:Let’s discuss! Discuss the towns/cities in China with a partner. Tell the class which town/city you think is the best. (I love life, I love China and I'm so proud of being a Chinese.)（中国之美）

Step6:Homework Write the best place/thing in Changsha.

统计各组获得的线索，此时小组可以打开信封，小组一起讨论谜题的答案（答案为北京）。

小组组长运用希沃授课助手和平板进行抢答（6个小组长在平板上按下数字自己代表的数字，排在第一位的数字即得到回答的机会），回答正确的小组获胜。让学生读出所得到的线索，并说出为什么你认为答案是北京。其中还有图片线索，让学生完成拼图得到完整图片为长城，也和本课开端的知识竞答相呼应。最后老师引导学生总结谈论北京的思路，并整合成思维导图，即我们可以从历史、景点、人口、大学、食物、天气、交通、艺术形式、建筑等方面来谈论北京，为后面能顺利进行写作打好基础。

Step7:Let’s write!

After the discussion of Beijing, it’s time to write Beijing by using the mind map. 北京即将举办冬奥会，写一封邀请函邀请全世界人民来北京。最后学生写作在前面听说训练以及写作思路的准备工作后，学生可以很顺利的使用最高级进行写作输出。写作后，展示两名学生的文章并做以点评，标记出里面的优秀句子供学生学习。

Step8: Let’s enjoy! A sample is given to students and let students read it with full of feelings. 最后给学生一篇范文供学生欣赏学习，帮助学生提升写作水平。写作后，学生欣赏一段厉害了我

的国的一段快闪视频，将爱祖国爱家乡的情感再次升华，让学生带着民族自豪感和民族自信心，大声的朗读出“We’re Chinese, we’re proud, we have confidence in culture, we have confidence in China.”

Step9 Homework (作业)

Write an introduction about our hometown—Shiyan. 在学会了使用最高级描述某个城市的写作技巧后，学会进行迁移，来写一篇关于自己家乡的介绍。
