一、教材分析：

本单元以“Do you want to watch a game show?”为话题展开教学活动，第一课时介绍了许多学生熟知的电视节目, 如情景喜剧, 访谈节目, 肥皂剧, 游戏节目等. 动画片是电视节目中的一种. 又是学生喜欢看的电视节目, 所以学生会带着浓厚的兴趣来学习这节课内容. 本节课主要介绍了米老鼠和迪士尼乐园的故事, 迪士尼是一种主题乐园, 遍布世界各地, 学生愿意学习这种话题的短文, 积极性较高.

二、学生分析：

八年级的学生有了一定的英语学习基础，能够完成简单的对话，阅读和写作任务。对英语单词,短语等也有了积累，为这节课的学习奠定了良好基础。

本节课要采用任务型的教学模式，让学生带着任务去阅读短文，了解短文主要话题, 并帮助学生构建思维导图, 以达到学生通过思维导图复述课文的目的, 进而提高学生们的阅读技能。

三、教学目标：

知识目标：

1. 掌握文章中出现的关键词，如词音，词义和在句中的具体含义。

2. 掌握关键句子显示的基本信息，能够很好地理解短文主题。

能力目标：能够运用所学词汇和句型结构剪短地介绍米老鼠的故事。

情感态度：激发学生对动画片经典人物的兴趣，丰富他们的业余生活，

加强学生了解中国经典文化的意识。

文化意识：了解中西方经典的动画形象差异。

四、教学过程：
