Unit 5 Our earth looks like this in space. 【教材分析】 我们所学的教材是湘少版的英语教材，适合湖南大部分的孩子，这本六年级下册的教材，在三四五年级的基础上，加入了对大自然知识的讲解，这个单元正是讲解太空知识，孩子们很感兴趣，在熟悉了日常用语之外，学生对未知的世界产生了好奇，通过这本教材学生对科学的魅力产生了好奇。 【学情分析】 六年级是孩子已经对英语有了初步的接触，他们可能不在满足于日常交际用语，想了解一些激发兴趣的知识，这个单元讲解的太空知识正适合孩子们。 【教学目标】 １.知识目标：

能理解、会说新单词earth, land and river, Space Museum, the sun, stars, the moon.掌握并能运用句型“look like„” ２.能力目标： 能在图片和关键词的帮助下理解课文内容,并能带有感情朗读课文。 3.情感目标：

通过对课文的学习，让学生初步了解有关太空的知识，提高学习兴趣，激发学科学、爱科学、用科学的热情。 【教学重点难点】 掌握新词、难句。

(1) 导入 T: What can you see in the movie? S: I can see many stars. T: Yes.Where are the stars? S: They are in the sky. (2)（幻灯出示太空景色图片） T： Look! This is space!
