Unit 4 What do you collect? part 1a,1b 教学设计

一、教学目标：

1、能根据听到的单词及词组：postcards，stickers，autographs，stamps，football pictures ，comics 指认图片，并能根据图片认读、拼写单词，掌握单词的单复数形式。

2、能正确运用句子：What do you collect？I collect…What’s this? It’s a/an …

What are these ? They’re ….进行简单交际。（进行语法渗透：be动词的两种形式is 和are 的运用，以及在答句中代词和名称的单复数的使用。）

3、利用自然拼读法，让学生逐步掌握文字与声音之间的联系，同时在词语和相应事物之间建立联想，采用多种形式激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣。

二、教学重点：

1、postcards，stickers，autographs，stamps这4个词是本课的重点。

2、会用What’s this/that ？It’s a/an …What are these/those ? They’re ….进行简单交际。

三、教学难点：

1、“autographs”的发音。

2、be动词的两种形式is 和are 的运用，以及在答句中代词和名称的单复数的使用。

Warming up

T : What’s this ？It’s a saving box , I collect many coins in it . Do you collect anything ?

设计意图：引入本节课谈论的关键词collect ,利用储蓄让学生体会收集的意思。

Step2

Presentationand and practise

1、Teach the title ：What do you collect ？

2、Lead in the new words and key sentences .

T: Different collect different things ，Now let’s learn some new words.

①postcards ：A card can be sent in the post without an envelope, especially one with a picture on it.明信片CAI课件呈现明信片，教学单词强调o 发[əu]的音，ar发[ɑ:]的音

The pupils repeat several times，then write。

②stamps: CAI课件呈现邮票，利用stand 和lamp让学生自己读出这一单词，强调t的浊化。

③stickers: 课件呈现贴画，i 发[ɪ]的音，er发[ə]的音。

④autographs : 课件呈现亲笔签名，利用August和grass教学新词。

⑤football pictures : 学生自学并理解单词.

⑥comics : 课件呈现连环漫画, o发[ɒ]的音, i发[ɪ]的音。

设计意图：将词汇教学融入到本节课的对话中，有效突破难点。

4、Pair work : 两人一组，练习1b 的对话。

Consolidation

1、Listen and tick。

①The pupils open their books, turn to page 32,try to read the words.

②Listen and tick the things they hear.

设计意图：在老师还没有教学新词前让学生自主完成1a，培养学生的语音意识和探究精神，帮助学生树立学习的自信心。

Step 4 文化渗透

中西方人们都有收集的爱好，收集的物品也是千奇百怪，无奇不有，我们要培养健有益的收集爱好。由于中西方文化背景及宗教信仰的差异，收集的物品也有所不同，我们要理解和尊重别人的收集爱好。

1、Copy the new words and new dialogues 3 times .

2、Listen to the tape 20 minutes .
