三、教学步骤

I. Warming up

1. Review the words and expressions of last class.

2. Review how to express some acception and refusion II. Presentation

1.T shows the big clendar and then Ss learn the new words

2.T asks Ss "What was/is the date yesterday/the day before yesterday/ today/tomorrow/the day after tomorrow? "

Ss answer "13th/14th/15th…. "

III. Practice

1.Work on 1a and 1b.

2.Check the answers

3.Work on 1c. Let the Ss ask these questions one by one.

IV. Pre-listening

1.Andy wants to play tennis with Vince.So he makes phones to ask Vince.Can Vince play tennis with Andy?

2.Work on 1d:Tell Ss to listen to Vince and Andy’s conversation. Then circle Yes

or No.

V. While-listening

1. Play the recording for the Ss. Ss just listen for the first time. Play the recording

again and circle.

2. Play the recording and check the answers with the Ss.

3.Work on 1e: Tell Ss they'll listen to the tape again. Then try to match Vince's activities with the days in 1d.

4. Ss listen to the recording carefully and try to match Vince's activities with the days.

5. Play the recording again and check the answers with the class.
