13 Beijing Is Great 教材分析：

本册主要让学生在不同的学习活动中感知并运用英语，使学生在做中学，在唱中学，在玩中学。本册内容在前面两年的基础上，续选择紧密联系学生的生活和学习实际，选择了切合学生需求的话题，教材的教学形式丰富多样，使学生能够在丰富多彩、生动有趣的课堂

氛围中学习语言运用语言。在学生能力培养方面，循序渐进地培

养学生自主学习和运用语言的能力。由此来发掘了学生积极求知、努力进取的潜能。

学生分析：

五年级的学生已学过两年多的英语，学生已有一定的基础，良好的听、说、读、写英语的习惯已基本养成。虽然五年级学生已经升入高年级，但是他们依然保持着儿童的特性。他们活泼好动，对新事物有着强烈的好奇心，探索知识的欲望很强烈，并且有着很强的表现

欲。所以还是应一如既往地采用新颖活泼有趣的教学形式进行教学，保持并提高学生学习英语的兴趣。

教学目标

能用简单英语介绍北京的名胜古迹。

1.能用句型:I love to travel. I want to go to……和……is great.等表达自己的旅行意愿和对某地的赞叹。

2.能认读单词和词组：travel, interesting, place, come, great, the Palace Museum , Tian’anmen Square, the Great Wall. 3.能向他人介绍我们的首都城市北京，培养学生的爱国情

怀。

重点：

能听说认读并运用词汇：travel, interesting, place, come, great. 难点：

能用简单的英语准确表达自己的旅行意愿和表达自己对某地的赞叹。

教学过程

Step1 Greeting T：Hello, boys and girls. Ss: Hello, teacher. T: How are you? Ss: I’m fine, thank you, and you? T: I’m fine, too. Sit down, please. Today is a lovely day .How do you spend your weekend, class? (幻灯片中出示这句话)。Who can answer this question? Show your weekend to us, ok? S1: I do my homework at home. S2: I watch TV at home. S3: I play ping-pong with my brother. S4: I go shopping with my parents. S5: I am going to Beijing with my parents. (此环节让学生举手回答，对回答问题的同学给予语言上的肯定和鼓励。) （设计思路：通过询问学生周末干什么，不仅复习了前面

的知识，而且在跟学生谈话的过程中自然地引出本课要学习的知识。）

Step2: Presentation 1. Learn words and phrases。

T: Ok, your weekend is fun. Dou you know where I want to go. Ss: No. T: I want to go to Beijing at the weekend. There are many interesting places in Beijing. Do you know Beijing, class? (板书Beijing) Ss: Yes. T: Are there any interesting places in Beijing? What are they .Who knows? S1: I know the Palace Museum. S2: I know Tian’an men Square. S3: I know the Great Wall. S4: I know Beihai Park. S5: I know the Ming Tombs.(以北京为中心分别板书the Palace Museum，Tian’an men Square，the Great Wall，Beihai Park，the Ming Tombs------) （设计思路：以思维导图的形式让学生集思广益说出自己知道的北京著名的地方，调动起学生的积极性，活跃课堂气氛。）

T: Ok, I love to travel. I want to go to Beijing. (出示这句话)教读单词travel.( 先整体教读，然后让一排学生一个一个的读。) T: Ok, I want Zhen Tianyu and Li Jian to come. Do you want to go with me?

Ss: Yes. T: Thank you. I want Li Ziyu and Li Hejia to come. Do you want to go with me? Ss: Yes. T: Thank you .I want everyone to come. 2. Talk about Beijing’s famous places. T: Now bus is coming, are you ready? Ss: Ready. T: Ok, let’s go. (出示旅游大巴动态图片) Now let’s go to the first stop. Let’s enjoin some pictures. (出示几张the Palace Museum 图片)。Who knows where it is? (学生举手回答)。Yes, it’s the Palace Museum. Can you say about the Palace Museum? (学生举手回答) S1: The Palace Museum is famous. S2: The Palace Museum is very beautiful. S3: Kings and queens lived the Palace Museum long ago……

T：Very good, the Palace Museum is about 500 years old, what color is the Palace Museum? Ss: It’s red and yellow. T: Just now we visited the Palace Museum .Next let’s go to another place ,bus is coming ,（出示旅游大巴图片）are you ready ? Ss: Yes. T: Let’s go. (出示Tiananmen Square 图片)。Where is it? Ss: It’s Tiananmen Square.

T: Can yo ay about Tiananmen Square? (学生举手回答) S1: Tiananmen Square is very big . S2: Tiananmen Square is in Beijing. S3: We can see the picture of Chairman Mao. T: Ok, we can see the flag of our country rising every morning at Tiananmen Square. Now let’s go the next place ,bus is coming(出示旅游大巴图片) ,are you ready ? Ss: Ready. T: Let’s go. Let’s go to the next stop(出示the Great Wall图片)。What is it? Ss: This is the Great Wall. T: Can you say about the Great Wall. S1: The Great Wall is great. S2: The Great Wall is in Beijing. S3: 孟姜女哭长城的故事. S4: 我知道毛主席的不到长城非好汉的名言。

T：There are many interesting stories about the Great Wall. The Chairman Mao said: The man who has never been to the Great Wall is not a true man. Now let’s go to the next stop (出示Bird’s Nest 图片)。 Where is it? Ss: It’s Bird’s Nest. T: Can you say about Bird’s Nest? S1: Bird’s Nest looks like a nest. S2: Bird’s Nest is beautiful. T: Bird’s Nest is used for the 2008 Summer Olympics.

Now let’s go to the next stop, bus is coming, are you ready? Ss: Ready. T: Let’s go (出示the Water Cube 图片). T: Where is it? Ss: It's the Water Cube. T: Can you say about the Water Cube? S1: The Water Cube is very big. S2: The Water Cube is used for swimming. T: The Water Cube is used for the 2008 Summer Olympics. Just now we enjoin some places in Beijing(再次出示以上去过的地方)。 There are many interesting places in Beijing, so it’s great. (设计思路：锻炼学生英语语言表达能力，让学生学会如何用英语表达自己对北京的描述和赞叹之情。)

Step3: Consolidation and extension 1. Listen time Now listen time, turn page 39, listen to the tape and fill in the blanks with the given words(播放录音)。 I will give you some minutes to fill in the blanks (指名让学生回答出正确答案)。
