一、教学内容分析

本课选自外研版（三起）三年级下册Module2 Unit2 That man is short. 本单元的内容主要是学习并能运用恰当的形容词描述某人或某物的特征。重点的几组反义形容词有tall（高的）- short（矮的）, big（大的）- small（小的）, fat（胖的）- thin（瘦的）。

二、教学目标

1、知识目标

词汇：tall, short, big, small, fat, thin, big and fat等

句子：This monkey is small and thin. That man is short. 等

2、能力目标

学生能细心观察，然后灵活运用This/That … is tall/ short/ big/ small/ fat/ thin/ small and thin.等描述某人或某物的特征。

3、情感目标

通过独立学习及小组合作学习等活动，学生的观察能力、语言综合运用能力及团结合作的能力都得到提升。

三、教学重难点 1、重点：

（1）学习并掌握单词tall, short, big, small, fat, thin, big and fat（2）掌握句型

（1）掌握 big and fat, small and thin等同时具有两种特征的表达

(教师教授之前，自己拼读对的，给说对的学生加分) 教师呈现卡片，带读的时候教师板书，并让学生一起举起手拼读。抽读（小组和单个），纠正学生发音。

操练1: 游戏（我们是同桌）（教师点到某个学生的名字，同桌也快速站起来读单词

教师引导学生回答出“胖的”“瘦的”，并呈现单词fat 和thin. 潘和姚之前是在高矮之间进行的对比，教师继续引导学生从身材方面去对比。T: Pan Changjiang is

起手拼读。做小小的动作带读。抽读，纠正学生发音。

操练2: 拍读游戏（学生拍单词卡片fat, thin并大声读出单词）

3）从礼物盒里取出两个大小不同的纸片猴子，步步引导学生说出“大的”“小的”，教师呈现单词big, small T: Boys and girls, what are they? Ss: They are monkeys. T: Fantastic. This monkey is big and that monkey is small.（拿着两只纸片猴子对比，引导学生说出big 和

small）

教师呈现单词卡片big和small，配合TPR，跟读，几次后，教师做动作学生抢读big, small，让学生边做动作边读单词，最后学生自己来表演和读。

把这两只纸片猴子，贴到黑板上，鼓励学生说句子。

Ss: This monkey is big. （指着大的那只猴子，让学生说）

Ss: That monkey is small.

(指着小的那只猴子，让学生说) 操练3：bomb游戏

（教师做炸弹样，抛到哪个学生那里，那位学生需立即起立说前面两个关于大小的句子）

Practice. 1、单词巩固：（man, monkey, big, small, tall, short, fat, thin）

教师做动作，学生抢读。

针对三对反义形容词，教师说一词，学生抢答说出其反义词。

2、看图描述。（第一部分的图片和黑板上的纸片）

Step 5 Extension 观察周围的物体或同学的特征，然后进行对比，可以使用以下单词tall, short, big, small, fat, thin等。

小组内交流，然后展示成果。

Summary &Homework : 学生对此课时重点学习内容进行总结，如有需要教师再进行补充

家庭作业：熟读课文并就身边的事物及人物用相应的特征词进行正确描述。
