1、教学内容分析：

本单元围绕Can you come to my party?开展语言交际活动。本课时的重点是让学生学会如何提出邀请，接受邀请和拒绝邀请并说明理由。学习内容为Section B 1a-1f.是在Section A的基础上，借助日历引出日期的表达方式，学习相关词汇和句式，并通过听说读写活动，进一步巩固有关话题的表达。

2、学情分析：学生已经会初步发出、接受和拒绝邀请，但还不熟练，本课时就是通过听说读写一系列教学活动巩固本单元知识目标，对后面阅读和写作做好铺垫。

二、Teaching objectives(教学目标) 1、Knowledge goals(语言知识目标) ①掌握新单词：

Leading in Ask students “What’s the date today?”and “What day is it today?”

Step 2.Pre-task ①Show the days of the week in a large monthly calendar. ②Point out the days of the week at the top of the calendar and ask a student to read these words aloud. ③Ask a student to point today’s date,tomorrow’s date,the day after tomorrow’s date and the day before yesterday’s date. Step 3.While-task ①Ask students pay attention to the example in the box.Ask two

students to read it to the class. ②Ask students”What do you want to do on Monday,Tuesday...?And write down their answers. ③Make some conversations with your partner,and ask some students to present their conversations. Step 4.Listening ①Listen to the tape scripts.Can Vince play tennis with Andy? Circle “Yes”or “No”.

②Play the recording. Ask What can Vince do today?Pay attention to the list of five activities,and the three lettered words.Point to the sample answer,say,Number 1 is b,that means Vince is playing soccer tomorrow. ③Play the recording again and check the answers. Step 5.Post-task ①Help students find partners.Say, one is Andy, the other is Vince. Ask the pairs to practice for a few minutes like the sample. ②Ask students to present their conversations. 六、Homework.(家庭作业) Plan a party. Write everything you have to do next week. 本课时注重了学生的情感因素，首先着力培养了学生的学习兴趣，激发了他们热爱生活的品质。在教学过程中做得到了以学生为主体，教师为主导的作用，让学生大胆的参与到对话活动中去进行语言交流活动，使他们的语言技能，知识，情感态度等方面得到整体发展，教学目标已经达成。但一些方面还可以改进。学生首先自己必须预习书本知识，学习新词汇，学生不知道新单词的含义，课堂中提取单词的速度大大降低，这不仅可以加快知识的接受度，还是一个自我培养能力的过程。
