一、教材分析：

本课时是对学生语言综合能力的运用的训练。3a的语篇填词练习再次让学生在语境中巩固形容词、副词最高级的使用。3a也是为3c的写作提供了一个很好的写作范例。3b是为3c提供习作的框架和要点，也为学生介绍地方、描写事物打开了思路，学生从3a读文章填词，到3b思考要点写句子，再到3c完整语篇的输出，整个过程由易到难，循序渐进，符合学生认知规律。最后的口语活动4，要求学生谈论中国最佳城市的话题，要求学生拓宽思路，并且能在语境中运用语法要点。Self check是对本单元的语言目标知识的提升。

二、教学目标： 1. 语言知识目标：

(1) 复习形容词、副词最高级的构成规则。

(2) 通过描述周围的地点及事物来综合运用所学的形容词、副词最高级的知识。 2. 能力目标：

通过完成将表格信息转化为文段的写作任务，灵活准确地使用形容词、副词的最高级。

3.情感态度价值观目标：

(1)激发学生学习英语的兴趣，调动学习英语的积极性，增强自信心。

(2）谈论自己家乡最好的地方和事物，激发学生对自己家乡的热爱。欣赏中国之最，加强爱国主义教育。

三、教学重难点

1. 教学重点：

(1) 能运用所学的形容词、副词的最高级的用法，根据提示来完成选词填空的任务。

(2）能运用所学的形容词、副词的最高级的用法来描写自己周围的一些地点和事物等。

Ⅰ. Warm- up and Lead-in

Hello, everybody!

(课前播放英文影片歌曲) T:

What did I do on weekends? Where did I go on weekends? I take the plane to Hainan, because it is the fastest. （设计意图：播放英文歌曲激发了学生学习英语的兴趣，然后通过猜测老师周末生活安排来导入，很好地拉近师生距离，也复习了本单元重要的最高级的语法知识。）

1. Let Ss talk about “the best place to go on weekends”

Why is it?”

Eg:

I think Sanya is the best place to go on weekends. Because it’s the most beautiful city. Tianyahaijiao is the most famous place. And it has the most crowded people. Quite a lot of visitors come to Sanya every year.

2. The Science and Technology Museum is the best place in Hainan. Because I can enjoy my fun time most quietly. It also has the most creative works.

Work on 3a:

1. Read the article about Greenwood Park. Fill in the blanks with the correct superlative forms of the adjectives and adverbs in the box.

2. 方法指导：

(1).阅读短文，整体把握短文大意。 (2).分析有空格的每个句子，看空格处应是形容词还是副词，根据句意确定单词。 （3）.将单词的最高级形式填到空白处。副词前可以不加the。

4. Check the answers. （设计意图：有效地指导学生运用语言知识。激发学生自主意识，培养良好的思维习惯。）

1. Write about your town and the best places/things there.

2. 写作指导：

（1）本文为写自己所居住的城镇上最好的地方或事物，并说明原因。 （2）因此，时态应用一般现在时态。 （3）应先描述最……的是某个地方，然后说明这个地方最好的原因。 （4）应注意正确运用形容词或副词的最高级形式来表达。 3. 学生们根据写作指导，及上面表格中的提示来写作这篇文章。

Where are the best places in my town? Well, I think the best middle school is No. 1 Middle School because it is the most beautiful school in my town. Sun Cinema is the best movie theater. 4. Let some Ss read their passage to the class.

1. Discuss the towns/cities in China with a partner. Tell the class which town/city you think is the best.

2. Give Ss some examples: I think Hangzhou is the best city in China. Because it’s the most beautiful. West Lake is the most famous place. And it’s the most popular city. Quite a lot of visitors come to Hangzhou every year.

3. Ss discuss with their partners and try to give their own idea.

1. Fill in the blanks with the superlative forms of the words in the box.
