Lesson16 How can we go to Beijing?
一、教材分析
本单元都是以旅游为核心,本课围绕选择去北京的方式为话题,讨论和学习How can we go to Beijing?主要谈交通方式和交通工具,这些都与学生的实际生活紧密联系,在四年级上册已经学了简单的交通工具以及by的用法如:by car、
by bike等,这些旧知识可以很好的为新知识教学服务。
二、学生分析
本课的教学对象是五年级的学生。这个阶段的学生对英语学习有了一定的基础,但是部分学生学习目的性不强,学习的自觉性不够,注意力不够集中,容易被新鲜好奇的事物所吸引而激发学习兴趣,竞争意识也比较强。因此,授课过程中应为他们提供一定的学习的方法和途径,在激发兴趣的同时培养学生的英语学习兴趣,培养他们英语自主学习的能力,让学生在和谐的课堂气氛中快乐学习。
三、教学目标

五、教学过程
Warming up 首先播放视频“Wheels on the bus”
Greeting (设计意图:通过课前师生的亲切交流,使学生集中注意力,尽快参与到课堂活动中来。)
第一部分
Step1:Review 利用幻灯片出示一些学生已经学过的一些交通工具的图片。
T: You are all clever boys and girls ,Just now , I play you a song ”Wheels on the bus”. OK ,tell me , what can you see? S: Bus T: yeah, very good. Now Let’s look at the blackboard, What’s this?

(设计意图:复习巩固所学过的单词,为接下来的学习作好充分的准备。)
Step2:Presentation 1、T: OK. You are so clever. And today , we will learn some
new words. Let’s look again.
Look! What’s this? (出示飞机图片).
Who can guess? S: 飞机.
T: Yes , plane.
T : plane ,read please !
S : plane .
T :We also can say: This is a plane.
T : This is a plane ,read please !
S:This is a plane (以同样方法教授train)

出示三张飞机飞行的动态图片。
T:Look at these pictures, there are one two three planes. Compare with these planes. What can you see ?(同学们,观察这三架飞机,你们发现这三架飞机在飞行速度上有什么共同的特点呢?) S:快
S:OK, very good. Look at this word”fast”. Read after me.

fast fast!(读fast 这个单词时,语速要快,在语速上给学生暗示,这个单词是快的。)

出示公共汽车的图片。
T: What’s this? S: This is a bus.
T: A plane is fast. What about the bus? (飞机飞得很快,那么公共汽车呢?) S:慢。
T: OK, very good. Look at this word “slow ”. Read after me. Slow

slow (在读slow这个单词的时候,语速要慢。并且引导学生读单词和句子。) S: Slow

T: Listen to the tape ,and follow it. (放一遍录音,学生跟读) (设计意图:利用图片及语速,让学生更加直观的理解单词的意思。)

Step1:Presentation T : Now let’s look at blackboard again. Look, This is my home, and this is our school. Everyday, I go to school by bus. How do you go to school? .

T: Ok, very good . Through the previous lesson, we know that Li Ming wants to go to Beijing . And, Do you want to go to Beijing? S: _________.
T: Oh, yes. In Beijing, there are great wall, palace Museum, Tian’anmen square, Ok, now let’s go to Beijing. But ,How can we go to Beijing?

(出示可供选择的方式) We have so many choices. ………………But which one is best? How can we chose them? If it’s far. We can chose train, plane ,car. And if it’s not far, we can chose bike , bus , taxi, or maybe we can go there on foot.
(出示北京到石家庄的地图)
Look at this picture, This is Shijiazhuang, and this is Beijing. OK, How far is it from 石家庄to北京?(同时出示该句子)(跟学生用汉语说from……to是
从……到……)
It’s _____278__ kilometers(同时出示该句子和地图上所标数字278千米。) (领读kilometres, 并用汉语告诉学生该词的意思“千米”,
然后将两个句子多领读几遍,确保学生会读)
