Greetings. 2.

Play a game to review the words: open, close, jump, hide, see, under, behind T; First let’s play a game. ‘CATCH THE MONSTER’.(评讲游戏规则) 3.

Say a chant: T:We know Toby always has dreams at night. Let’s look at his dreams and say a chant with Toby. I dream about Pit. I dream about Pat.

I dream about my friends. We play with a cat. I dream I can swim. I dream I can fly. I dream I can jump, jump up high. Step 2. Presentation 1. 课件出示故事主图(2a图),师生交流图片。

Look! Toby gets into bed and soon he goes to sleep. Then he has dreams. T; Can you guess “What does Toby dream about?”

S: He dreams about ...(学生展开想象回答, 点3名学生) 2. Picture walk: 图一:观察图片 T; Look! Toby is sleeping. We are all Toby now. Let’s go to bed together. (听2遍) You are fast asleep. (全部学生做睡觉的动作) 图二:听录音 (1)(听2遍) Suddenly you wake up.(学生陆续做睁眼醒来的动作) T: G1, wake up. G2, wake up.G3, wake up. G4,wake up. (2)比较wake up 和get up的区别 (3)教读单词wake, 强调a 的发音

T: Why does Toby wake up? Maybe he hears something. 图三:观察图片,回答问题

T: The door of your room opens. What does Toby see? S: The hand / the monster... T: Whose hand is it? (掏出怪物的手套并戴上) (听2遍) The door of your room opens and you see the hand of a monster. (边说边做动作) T: Guess ‘ How is Toby feeling?’/ How are you feeling?

S: He is scared. / I am scared. T; Guess What does Toby do? 图四:观察图片 Toby sees the hand of a monster, so ... (听2遍) T; You jump out of bed.(边说边做跳下床的动作,注意连读)

(1)全班说,老师指名做动作。

T; Then... You open the window and hide behind the curtains.(学生试读该句,边读边做动作)强调hide的发音。

Listen to the whole story, looking at the pictures on the books. T; Is it a dream or not a dream? (课件揭晓答案并引出课题: Toby’s dream ) 2. Tell the stories together, looking at the word cards. 3. 创设情景:The monster jumps out of the window. Where is it now? Let’s try to find out where it is.(学生挑战四项任务,便可得知怪物的下落。)

TASK 1: Look and say.(学生看图发指令) 观察图片一:

T: What can you see? S: A shoe and ice cream. T: There is a monster in the shoe. He is hungry. He is looking for food. (师示范)Jump out of the shoe--- look for ice cream--- get back into the shoe (带读短语)

(1生回答)Jump out of the box --- look for a hamburger---- get back into the box (另1生回答)Jump out of the hat --- look for chicken---- get back into the hat ( 学生完成该任务,课件出示怪物下落的线索一) TASK 2: Act out the story. 1.

Listen to the story and do the actions with T. 2.

学生扮演怪物,其他学生扮演Toby,听音表演故事.(两名学生) ( 学生完成该任务,课件出示怪物下落的线索二) TASK 3: Let’s change the order. Listen and do the actions. ( 学生完成该任务,课件出示怪物下落的线索三) TASK 4: Listen again and fill in the numbers on P46.

Consolidation Read and fill: 课件呈现Toby’s new dream T: I have a picture book about Toby’s new dream. Please work in pairs. Read the story and try to fill in the blanks. I’m fast asleep. Suddenly I wake up. I can hear a bee. It lands on my book. I jump up. Where is the bee? I look for the bee. I look under the bed.

It’s not there. I climb on the wardrobe. It’s not there. I look behind the curtains. It’s not there. It’s on my nose. I am so scared.Oh, it’s just a dream. T: What do you think of his dream? Is it funny? 情感教育:When you are in trouble,don’t be afraid, just be brave. Step 5.Homework 1.
