The Second Period Section A ( 2d–Grammar Focus ＆ 3b-3c)

Teaching aims（教学目标）

1. 能够用不同的词或者词组表达自己的爱好。

2. 能够清晰的表达自己爱好的理由和计划。

3. 能够清晰的用不同的词语表达自己的计划。

Language points（语言点）

1.

要求掌握以下句式：What do you plan/want/expect to watch tonight ?

I plan/want/expect to watch …

2．要求掌握以下词汇：

1) 名词n. joke, comedy, discussion 2) 动词v. happen, expect, may, find out （本节课的生词较少，而且单词的拼写比较简单，所以学生学起来不会感到困难，如果班级学生的水平较高，可以鼓励学生当堂掌握。）

Difficulties（难点）：掌握want /hope/plan/expect 引导的不定式做宾语表达计划。

熟练表达自己的爱好的理由。

Teaching steps（教学步骤）

1.

Warm-up and revision（课堂热身和复习）

Revision Teacher presents some pictures of TV shows and asks students to speak their English names to review the words they learned in the last period Lead students do an activity in the textbook with several facial expressions to review how to express their feelings for different TV shows.

Work on 2d. T: Role-play the conversation. Task 1: play the record first and let students listen to the conversation and pay more attention to the words they can’t read by themselve, at the same time underline the piont they don’t understand. Task 2: Ask and Answer Students who have any problems raise their hands and point out special student to answer the question or volunters stand up to answer it. If no one can answer it , teacher will offer help. Task 3: role play the conversation Divide the whole class into two parts and role play it

充分利用所提供的对话模式，强化输入，并表示关键句，给学生充足的训练时间,并让小组对话在全班展示，展示的时候根据需要可以隐去一些关键的信息。）

3.Grammar Focus

Task 1: teacher reads first and let students listen to the sentenses in Grammer and pay more attention to the words they can’t read by themselve, at the same time underline the piont they don’t understand. Task 2: Ask and Answer Students who have any problems raise their hands and point out special student to answer the question or volunters stand up to answer it. If no one can answer it , teacher will offer help.

4. Work on 3a and 3b.

Answer these questions. Give answers that are true for you. (提示学生利用听力材料比较好的表达方式，并结合自身给出真实的回答，尽量说出合理的理由)

5. Make a survey T: Go around the classroom and ask your classmates questions and write their names in the chart. Remember to use “want/hope/expect/plan to do” in your questions.

这个教学环节的设计的主要目标是让学生综合应用前两节课所学的如何表达自己的喜好及其理由。请强调在做报告时混合使用want/plan/expect/hope to do 表达计划。）

6. Homework Oral:

Read the conversation in 2d aloud.

Written: Write a report with your survey results in 3c.
