The Description of the text content：

This period belongs to the content of Unit4 on the first term of Grade 8 that comes from the Teaching 2011 Teaching Standard Edition Teaching Materials.The teaching content basids on students have learnt the superlatives.This part is not only the reviesion of superlatives,but also the integrated application of the superlatives.

The ponit of the lesson makes use of structions of sentences on superlatives to descrip the best things of the hometown.

Student description: The subject of instruction of the class is Ss in Grade 8，they have some English abilities on language expression,organizational language and writing .And they can also make the sentences with some new phrases.They even like giving their opinions while they receives the others’advice. So the lesson makes good use of the methods of the main role of students,sentence type summary,the learning of phrases,discusion of groups and personal makes sentences.

(T:Play the PPT.) Step2 Leading in : T:What’s the wonderful program in June 1st Art Festival? Why is it?（The teacher show the Ss 4 pictures about the Art Festival . The Ss look at the pictures and decide to choose the most wonderful program.Then the teacher guid Ss to read the name of the highest point program__the Red Scraves.Next the teacher ）

S:The Red Scraves is the most wonderful program in June 1st Art Festival.Because it can get the highest points.(Then the teacher and the Ss concludes the structions of sentences on superlatives together .The teacher write down them on the blackboard.) T:What's the best place to go in Heku?

S:The best place to go is Tianxin Reservoir. Because I can practice singing and take in fresh air there. -

Attention：When the students watch the PPT, they may not describe the things with superlatives, so the teacher should give them a hint.(导入意图：通过用学生们刚刚参加过且最关注的的六一文艺汇演节目图片创设情境，吸引学生的眼球，且转化成课堂中的最高级，从而进一步引导学生认识家乡最好的休闲的地方——天心水库，以及由because 引导的原因从句，正式进入课堂正题。)

T:Think about some of the best places/things /teachers in your town. Why are they the best? You can discuss with your partners first. Now let’s begin!(教师巡视，以待必要的辅导。设计意图：为学生学习最高级句子表达做好词语上的准备。) Next,the teacher shows some

structions of sentences on superlatives ，and guid Ss to read together time and time again. (Ss repeat the structions over and over again.) （设计意图：进一步复习最高级的句型，为下表中描述禾库最好的人与事物，及其原因做铺垫。）

Then,the teacher shows a form about the best school/supermaket/...in Heku.Ss look at it and follow read the words ,phrase and sentences. T:What’s the best supermarket in Heku? S1:Qian Jia Bai Huo Supermarket. T:Why?（用棒棒糖对回答问题的学生加以鼓励）

S1:.Because it has the best quality goods.

Step 5：Exercises: T:Practice writing by yourselves. （设计意图：让学生手脑并用，将本课所学知识综合运用起来。）

Step7:Homework Write a passage about your hometown ___Heku. Write down the best things . 8 sencentes at least.(70个单词左右）

（课后作业评测分析：课后作业是教学的延续，是课堂教学反馈的重要环节。为此，我结合情境在课后布置了一篇描写家乡最好的事物来巩固学生写作知识，不仅能发展他们的思维能力，还可以检验下教学效果，了解学生还有哪些语法知识或单词欠缺。这有效地训练学生的连词成句能力，英语运用能力，组织语言能力以及综合运用最高级句型的能力，对培养学生写英语作文时要注意的时态，以及写作基础是十分有益的，从而更深层次地激发学生热爱家乡，和学习英语的动机和兴趣。）

教学反思：

学习英语的兴趣和信心对学生来说是十分重要的，所以本节课我将学生的生活与英语学习结合起来，即：情景教学，让学生熟知、亲近现实的生活，让生活中的英语走进学生视野，进入英语课堂，使英语课堂变得具体、生动、直观，使学生感悟发现英语的作用和意义，学会用英语的眼光观察周围事物。

但是整堂课下来，还是发现了自己很多不足，有待加强：

1、教学环节中，我害怕学生不会英文，很多都是用汉语讲述；对学生不是很放心，没有完全把主动权还他们，多让他们进行连词成句，练习最高级的句型。可是后面我发现学生完全有能力自己连词成句，所以这就启示着我在以后的教学中，要真正的让学生做学习的主人，不要怕他们出错；

2、给学生写的方面有点少，应再抽出更多的时间，让学生在课堂上好好地练习，并且教师可以在黑板上及时点评。

3、上课时心理素质还是不太好，有点紧张，在今后的公开课中应镇定自若，泰然自处，多鼓励激励学生，让他们更自信，对英语的学习兴趣更浓。
