一、目标确立依据

1.课程标准的要求：

课程标准对八年级学生的要求是在：

①能听懂接近正常语速、熟悉话题的语段，识别主题，获取主要信息；

②能引出话题并进行几个回合的交谈；

③能在教师的指导下参与角色表演等活动；

④能在上述口语活动中使用正确的语音、语调。

2.学情分析

学生已经学习过like, love, don’t like这些表达喜好的词，以及sport, talk, game这些构成电视节目的单词，了解过What do you think of...是用来提问对某事物看法的，本节课继续学习其他表达喜好的词汇、表示电视节目名称的单词、What do you think of...来提问对电视节目的喜好以及回答。

此外，本次讲课用的是实验班的学生，学生的基础较好，需要通过多种形式的活动来练习单词以及句式，激发学生的学习积极性；学生具有一定的合作意识，能够通过小组合作来完成任务。 3.教材分析

本单元是八年级上册的第5单元，通过本单元的学习，学生学会谈论对电视节目的喜好。电视节目贴近学生生活实际，能够引起学生的兴趣。

二、教学目标设计

1.结合图片和师生互动，4/5的学生能够准确、熟练识记表示电视节目类型的名称：talk show, soap opera, sport show, sitcom, game show, talent show, news。

2.通过听力练习，4/5的学生能准确获取他人对电视节目的观点，并初识句型。

3.通过两人对话练习及小组活动，能够运用句型描述对电视节目的喜好并进行至少三个话轮的对话：

----What do you think of ......? ---- I love.../I like.../I don’t like.../I don’t mind.../ I can’t stand...

五、学习过程

Step 1: Lead-in Show a TV show. The teacher asks students “What TV show is it?”,

“Do you like watching it?” and “Do you want to watch it?” to lead in this lesson. 【设计意图】通过视频展示，学生回答问题，自然导入本课，激发学生的学习兴趣。

Step 2: New words learning Activity 1：Look at the picture and learn the names of TV shows. And then remember the words.

Activity 2：Word competition. Look at the picture and speak out the name of TV shows quickly. Check if students master the names of TV shows. Activity 3：Do 1a. Match the TV shows with the pictures [a-g]. And then check the answers. Activity 4：Listen and number the shows [1-4] in the order you hear. _________ talent show __________ talk show _________ soccer game ___________ news 【设计意图】围绕目标1，输入词汇，并通过单词比赛、单词图片匹配听力测试检测学生能否识记有关电视节目的名称，并通过活动4实现目标2的达成。

Step 3: Language presentation Activity 5：The teacher draws the picture of smiling faces and sad faces. Students learn love, like, don’t mind, don’t like, can’t stand. Activity 6：The teacher shows the picture of TV shows and asks students “What do you think of ......?”. The teacher guides students to answer questions according to the faces shown next to the pictures. -What do you think of ......? - I like.../I love.../I don’t

Step 4:Practice Activity 7：The teacher asks students “What do you think of talk shows?” Students answer questions one by one to practice the sentence pattern. Activity 8： Pair work Students work in pairs to practice the conversation. -What do you think of ......? - I like.../I love.../I don't like.../I don't mind.../ I can't stand... Activity 9： Group work Students work in group of four do a survey using the sentence patterns and fill in the blanks. 【设计意图】围绕目标3，让学生以不同形式在语境中练习对话，即学即练，学生上台表演，锻炼他们运用语言来表达喜好的能力。

Step 5:Production Activity 10：Show the survey report. 【设计意图】围绕目标3，学生通过上台展示调查报告，检测学生是否掌握目标句式。

Step 6: Summary (总结) Summarize the key words and sentence patterns of this lesson. 【设计意图】通过本环节的设计，学生对本节课所学知识进行梳理和总结，有利于知识的掌握。并拓展延伸：“What do you think of...?” 不仅可以对电视节目提问，还可以用于提问其他事物的喜好和看法。

Step 7:Homework Write a report about the interviewing results of your group. 【设计意图】通过本环节的设计，学生可以在实际生活中运用语言完成任务，进一步巩固对目标语言地运用。
