教学重点：

词汇：tall short big small fat thin 句型：This…is…..That …is…. 教学难点：This monkey is small and thin .That monkey is big and fat . 教学准备：单词卡，动物图片。

教学方法：情境教学法。

教学过程：

Step1：Warming up

1、Greeting 把全班分组（boys and girls），开展比赛。

2、Follow me 跟着老师做动作并说 One finger，one finger，turn，turn，turn，turn to a toothbrush，shua shua shua. Two fingers，two fingers，turn，turn，turn，turn to a rabbit，beng beng beng. Three fingers，three fingers，turn，turn，turn，turn to a cat，miao miao miao （设计意图：直观形象，吸引学生注意，调动兴趣，使孩子们活跃思维，积极地参与课堂活动，为对话学习做准备。）

Step2：Presentation 1、Guess， What’s this？ What’re they ?看，并猜，回答。 2、Let’s chant . Tigers ，tigers，tigers，wow，wow，wow. Cats cats cats ，miao miao miao. Tigers are big. Cats are small.复习上节课内容，了解孩子们掌握情况,并引出本课新单词big small…。

3、New words 出示图片讲授新单词：tall short big small fat thin A. 升降调 B. Louder and louder C. Play a game说出反义词

使用多种方法使孩子识记单词，了解单词的意思，并会读说。

4.Learn Text A.播放活动2动画。提问：what do they see？（他们看到了什么？）找出反义词？

B.带领孩子们学会说第一幅图，小组合作练习 C.show time .小组上台展示。

老师指着图中的人问学生，

引导学生说： That man is tall. That man is short. 接着，老师指着猴子说： Look at the monkey. This monkey is thin. That monkey is fat. This monkey is small and thin .That monkey is big and fat. Step3:Practise 1.Work in groups 例如：Look at the boys .This boy is fat .That boy is thin. Look at the girls. This girl is tall .That girl is short . Look at the bags. This bag is big .That bag is small 学生四人一小组，拿周围的同学或学习用品来介绍。

Step4:Summary 告诉大家这节课你会说了哪些句子。
