教学目标： 1. 能够听、说、读、写句型：

How can I get to the City Library? You can get there by No.6 bus. 2.能够在实际情景中正确运用所学对话。 二、教学重点： Ask and point the way.

三、教学难点：Can point the way in English.

四、教具：CD-ROM、相关图片、地名卡片和单词卡。

五、教学过程：

Step 1: Warm-up: Step 2: Presentation: 1. 问题引入，启发疑问

出示本课PPT，就图片和学生展开讨论，在师生、生生之间的交流中熟悉本课情境：

T：What’s in the picture? S: there are three people, a bus stop and a map init . T：Who are the children? S: They are Li Yan and Yang Ming. T：What are they doing? S: They are talking. 2. 聆听录音，整体感知

3. 回答问题，熟悉情境

学生根据图片和听到的内容，尝试回答问题。

T：Is this a map of a community? S: No, it isn’t. T：Where is the man going? S: He is going to the city library. …

4. 自然交流，突破新知

在师生、生生交流中，学生自然地进行新词、新句的理解和学习。

通过地图图示，理解It’s about half an hour by bus . （3）

通过图片讲解bus stop, by No.6 bus. 5.再听录音（观看课件），理解对话。

1.模仿本课目标语言说一说自己常用的出行方式、时间。

2．角色扮演，表演对话

学生三人一组，分角色表演本课对话。

Step 4: Language use 利用本课地图，模拟男人和Li Yan、Yang Ming进行地图上其他地方的问路和指路的回答。如clothes shop, the toy shop 等，对话可以根据本课对话编演。

Step 5: Extended activities 教师交代活动背景：你在你家小区门口帅上一个外国友人，简单交流之后，

他得知你的学校非常好，想来你的学校参观，请你告诉他路线，并画成简图。比一比谁指的路线最清晰、最快捷，语言表达最完整。

Step 6: Homework: Make a new dialogue and write it down.
