understanding level, I confirm the following key points and difficult points. 1. To enable students to use the new words, phrases and sentences in English. 2. To enable students to invite others by writing an invitation. 3. To solve the key points and difficulties, I introduce many kinds of reading skills: scan, skim, and analyze the difficult passage, and read aloud to comprehend the main idea, etc.

【设计意图】

通过询问学生“今天是什么日子”，既复习了之前所学的内容，同时也可以引出本周六是我的生日，从而引出本节课的主题—邀请他人。另一方面，也能引起学生的兴趣，让学生能够自然顺畅的进入到本课的学习。

Step 2 Pre-writing(8 minutes) 1.

Teach the students the new words and phrases and then ask the students to remember them.(2 minutes) 2.

Then ask the students to use these words and phrases in the sentences.(2 minutes)

3.Ask the students to use the words and sentences in the passage.(4 minutes) 【设计意图】

教师通过教单词—记单词—在句子和文章中运用单词，这一循序渐进的方式，让学生的学习由浅入深，层层递进，同时也培养他们的观察，记忆和运用能力。教师从而顺势推出本节课的重点，鼓励学生自己写邀请函。

Step 3 While-writing(25 minutes) 1.

Ask students a question: what kind of information should include in your information? Then give the students some key words.(2 minutes)

【设计意图】通过提问以及给出相应的关键词，给学生搭建了一个框架，帮助学生能够更好地写作。

2. Let them discuss in groups to write an invitation together.(15 minutes)

【设计意图】通过让学生进行小组讨论，共同写作的方式，锻炼了学生的自主学习以及合作交流能力。

3. After they finish their writing, I will correct one as an example. Then I would invite some students to correct the others.(8 minutes)

【设计意图】充分利用现代信息技术，教师首先进行批改，给学生作出示范，让整节课的完成度更高。同时，让学生参与批改，也能培养学生的语言能力。

Step 5

Homework(1 minute) Write an invitation to invite others. 【设计意图】通过让学生自行写邀请函，考察学生运用所学语言的能力，同时让他们学会如何利用邀请函与他人进行交流，增进他们与他人之间的相互沟通，锻炼学生的社交能力。

Self-reflection This lesson is close to all of us, most of the students are interested in the topic and can take part in the topic actively.

On the whole, my lesson is designed according to the way that teacher create situations---stimulate interest--organize activities---achieve the target, and students communicate and explore---cooperate and practice--cultivate abilities--sublimate habits.

Through various activities, we can help the students to acquire new knowledge and abilities.
