Step1.Warm-up/Revision 1.Greeting

unit. I say you do. 4.Play the game: where is the snail? Revise the preposition,like: between, near, in front of etc. 5. Show the pictures of lesson 8.Let students speak sentences with it.Revise the sentences of last lesson. Step2、Presentation 1.

Learn the new words of this lesson according the picture . Go down the street Turn left Turn right Practise them in different ways. 2.Show the theme picture of lesson, let students watch the video and answer the two question: Q1.Who are the girls? Q2.What are they talking about? 2.

Play the recording, let students listen and answer the questions. Q1.Who is new in the community? Q2.When did Lisa move here? Q3.Where is Lisa going? Q4.How will Lisa go there? Q5.Does Kate know the way? 3.

Work in group, talk about them and show in class. 4.

Step3.Practice 1.Read the dialogue after the recording. 2.Read by themselves. 3.Show time: Work in two, choose a way you like to read or act the dialogue.(1.Act out the dialogue.2.Read in roles.Read together.) 4.Give a new map ,let students make a new dialogue with it.Try to use more sentences we have learned. Step 4. Summary. Summmary the important words and sentences of this lesson. Step5.Homework: 1. Read the dialogue after class. 2. try to make a map of their own communities.
