Food is the first necessity of people. And breakfast is the most important meal in a day. What did you have for breakfast?

【Review】

Lead the students to retell how to make a Super Chicken Sandwich.

【Exercise 3a --- Yunnan Rice Noodles】

1. Ask students to read the recipe below and fill in the blanks with the words in the box. 2. Check answers in open class. 3. Ask students to summarize the ingredients and recipe. Draw attention to the key words like “first” “then” “next” “finally”.

【Review】

Ingredients: bread, butter, onion, tomato, lettuce, chicken. Recipe: First, put some butter on a piece of bread. Next, cut up a tomato and an onion. Then, put them and some lettuce on the bread. Then, put three slices of chicken on the sandwich. Finally, put another slice of bread on top.

【Exercise 3a】

1. Read the recipe below and fill in the blanks with the words in the box. 2. Underline the ingredients. 3. Underline the recipe. Circle the key words. 4. Complete the Summary: Ingredients:

rice noodles, chicken soup, chicken, lettuce and eggs. (other things like fish and different vegetables.) Recipe: First, wash the lettuce and cut it up.

Next, cut the chicken into pieces. Then, make the chicken soup very hot, over 100℃.
