二、学情分析：

本单元围绕“What’s the best...? ... is the best.” 等话题谈论“preference”并进行比较，以小镇为话题，主要语法是形容词最高级的用法。

单元教学内容分析 本单元的核心语言项目是

“Discuss preferences and make comparisions”。从Section A 的“Movie theater, clothing store, radio station”到Section B的才艺表演，谈论最喜欢的东西，阅读篇章，做出选择，循序渐进，逐步扩展。

学困生教学重难点突破措施

选择学生熟悉与喜欢的事物进行“比较”内容的教学，提高学困生的学习兴趣。精简重点词汇与句型，分层次记忆与操练。加强学困生课后的个别辅导，使他们在理解的基础上，能进行重点句型的朗读与仿写。

问题探究：最高级形式的构成

(1)单音节词和部分双音节词在原级后加-est构成，具体情况如下：

①单音节词及部分双音节词在词尾后加-est。

great--greatest clever--cleverest

②以e结尾的单词，在词尾后加．st。

nice--nicest

fine--finest

③以辅音字母’y结尾的单词，把y变为i，再加-est。

happy--happiest heavy--heaviest

④重读闭音节单词末尾只有一个辅音字母的单词，双写最后的辅音字母，再加-est。

hot--hottest big--biggest

(2)绝大多数双音节和多音节形容词前面加most构成最高级。
