After learning this lesson, the students will be able to learn the main words and sentences . And they will be able to introduce their families to others . Teaching procedure

There are four rounds in this class.

Step1 --- Round 1 Words A.

Play a game: The order of words are wrong. Students need to put them in order.

Show a picture of Li Ming’s family tree. Students need to speak out each word in English. C.

There are 6 numbers. Each number stands for one person in Li Ming’s family . Students need to choose one number and describe the person. Step2--- Round 2 Sentences A.

Show some pictures to practice the sentence structure:

What do you like to do?

I like to ... B. Pair work: in pairs , practice the conversation

What does your family like to do？

We like to ... Step3---Round3 Listening Time A.

Give students one minute to prepare

Do listening exercise 1,2 on books. Then try to use sentences when checking the answers. Step 4 ---Round 4 Composition A.

Write a short composition to describe one friend or one family member. Students are supposed to use the knowledge we have learned in this unit. B.

Show an example and tell students some key points. C.
