Xiaoquan Middle School March 22nd,2019 教学目标：

1.感知阅读材料中的重点短语的意义。

2.初步能用skimming等阅读技巧抓住文章主要意思及文章关键信息的能力。

3.通过学习，了解家务劳动对学生成长的重要性及意义，促使学生逐步养成在家劳动的良好习惯。

教学重点：

学生阅读技巧及能力的培养。

教学难点：

突破个别句型结构对学生在阅读理解时的制约。

教学方法：任务型教学；小组合作学习

教学步骤：

Step 1.Lead-in

Ask questions:Do you often help your parents do chores at home? What do you often do to help your parents at home? Step 2.Pre-reading Introduce a reading skill:skimming. Step 3.While-reading 1.Let Ss read the two letters by skimming,ask them to tell us Ms. Miller’s and Mr. smith’s main ideas. 2.Let Ss read the two letters again,find out the four ideas in the letters,then tell us “ whose idea is it?”

Step 4.Group work 1.Show some phrases,ask Ss to give the Chinese meanings and learn them in groups. 2.Ask Ss to understand the meaning of the letters in groups. Step 5.Post-reading 1.Ask Ss to read the sentences,tell us “true or false”

2.Give Ss some sentences,ask Ss to translate them into Chinese,then show the sentence pattern“ It’s …(for sb) to do sth” and ask Ss to say some sentences. Step 6.Homework

Write the sentences which include the phrases in 2d in the exercise book.
