教学设计

一、教材分析

本单元以“Do you want to watch a game show?”为话题展开教学，首先通过图文将学生带入“谈论电视节目”的语境中，并呈现了不同电视节目类型的表达方式，以及句型。让学生学会各种电视节目的英文表达，再让学生学会怎样用英语表达对不同电视节目以及事物的感受。通过用学生们熟悉的电视节目提高学生们学习兴趣，再通过简单的口语练习，使学生积极参与，合作，从而培养学生的综合语言运用能力。

本课是该单元的第二课时，复习了关于部分电视节目类型的单词，以及加强简单的表述喜好厌恶的句子的练习。

二、教学目标

1、语言知识目标：

正确表达部分电视节目的名称：talent show, sports show, talk show, game show, sitcom, news, soap opera等；

正确表达喜好程度：I love them. I like them, I don’t mind them.

I don’t like them. I can’t stand them；

掌握句型：Do you want to watch the news? What do you plan to watch? What do you think of……..

2能掌握以下单词：

discussion, happen, expect，plan, hope, find out

1）能掌握以下句型：

1、Do you want to watch the news? 2、What do you plan to watch?

3、What do you think of talk shows?

4、I can’t stand them.

5、I don’t mind them.

6、I like/love them. /I don’t like them.

2)能了解以下语法：

动词不定式结构做动词的宾语；后面接动词不定式做宾语的动词。

3）学会陈述自己的看法；学会谈论自己的喜好。

2.情感态度价值观目标：

学会谈论流行文化，了解各类电视和电视节目的名称和自己的喜欢。注意引导学生们形成正确的文化观念，大力培养学生们的跨文化意义，形成自己独立的个性。营造民主和谐的学习氛围，激发学生学习欲望；通过小组竞赛，学生学会和他人的合作；通过学习谈论对某些事物的喜欢与不喜欢，学做一个有个性的人；同时，做到适度劳逸结合，不要过度看电视节目，学会正确处理爱好与学习之间的关系。

三、教学重难点

1.教学重点：

1）学习掌握各类电视和电视节目的名称：talent show, sports show, talk show, game show, sitcom, news, soap opera等；

2）重点句型：A: Do you want to watch the ...What do you think of ......?

B: I like them. / I love them. / I don’t like them. / I can’t stand them. / I don’t mind them.

2.教学难点：

1）学会询问他人对某事物的观点并会正确表达自己的看法。

2）掌握动词不定式结构做动词的宾语；了解后面接动词不定式做宾语的动词。

五、教学过程

Step1.Lead-in

Present some pictures of different kinds of TV shows on PPT, and then ask the students “Do you know the shows?” “What other TV shows do you know?”

Have a brainstorm.

学生们根据图片提示学习各类电视节目并且练习运用句型。

（设计意图：抓住了学生的兴趣点，由学生们最喜欢的电视节目入手，激发了学生们的回答欲望。）

Step2. New words

1、Teacher presents some pictures of different kinds of TV shows. Help Ss learn the new words.

Get Ss read these new words individually, in groups and together.

2、Present some other pictures, and let some say the names of these kinds of TV shows.

(设计意图：此处引入新单词时机恰当，有针对性的丰富了刚才导入时学生们所使用到的词汇量，也为接下来的学习目标做好了铺垫。)

Step3. Presentation（从我作为教师的自身喜好的电视节目出发再展示出一张班级几个同学图片问问图上同学的喜好。）

1.Learn the target sentence patterns.

T: We have learned many kinds of TV shows. What do you think of these TV shows?

S:(Under the help of the teacher)I love them./I like them./I don’t mind them.

/I don’t like them./I

can’t stand them.

Let Ss read the conversation after the teacher. Then let Ss make their own

conversation using the shows and expressions.

Let some pairs ask and answer about the shows.（选取2个同学一组进行

对话。）

2.Finish the 2d and role play the conversation. 学习完对话然后进行角色扮演并根据实际情况操练。并挑出新单词和词组进行讲解，重视齐读和分角色朗读。

（设计意图：通过师生之间实际情况的语言交流，设置出情景，引出本课重点，呈现出语言知识。带领学生操练，帮助学生掌握语言重点。

建议：学生们通过自己组织语言，在基础对话之上丰富内容，使其更加完整。）

Step4.Consolidation

Let the students make a survey in groups, then ask the leader of each group to give a report by using the target language. Example: A: What kind of TV show do you like ? B: I like talent shows. A: What do you think of them? B: I think they’re interesting. How about you?

A: I like sports shows. B: How do you like them? A: They’re exciting.

We don’t like all the TV shows. How can we express our likes and dislikes? Show“ like, love, don’t mind, don’t like, can’t stand”并在每个词语后面画笑脸和哭脸，让学生直观地了解他们表达的意义。

（设计意图：创设情境，谈论喜欢的节目。通过两人小组编对话，巩固重点词汇，学习目标语言What do you think of…，同时为引入目标语言I like them, I love them, I don’t mind them, I don't like them, I can’t stand them 做好铺垫。）

Step5.Practice and finish the 3a

1.Show pictures again, get students to make their own conversations. What do you think of ….?

2.A:What do you plan to watch on TV tonight? B: I hope to...but I also want to ... . How about you? Do you... a talk show or...? A: Oh, I want to... (设计意图：设置真实的语言情景，既复习了电视节目，又复习了目标语言，同时还进一步激发学生的学习兴趣。)

3.Finish the 3b answer these questions. 1.What do you think of game shows? 2.What comedy shows do you like to watch? 3.Do you plan to watch a sports show tonight?

4.What can you expect to learn from the news? Report: ask your classmates questions in the chart. Find someone who...

Step7.English Drama(act the Journey to the West) 1. Watch a video, get students to guess the name of the show and say what they think of the show. 2. Play the English Drama （设计意图：通过调查学生大多喜爱动画卡通片，把四大名著之一西游记节选用英语话剧的形式表演出来，让同学们印象更深刻。）

Step8.Summary 1. TV shows 2. What do you think of…?

=How do you like…?

3.Tell the students We can learn a lot from TV shows. But watching TV too much is not good for our eyes and can get in the way of school work. （设计意图：让学生们自己总结本课知识，之后教师再次展示本课重点以加深印象，适当地进行进行德育渗透。

Step9.Homework: Do a survey about your family members , and Write a short passage about your favorite TV show and your parents’ favorite TV show.

(设计意图：作业布置延伸到听，说，读，写。把课堂内容延伸到课外。进行实际应用。）

七、教学反思：

通过学生的课堂反映与教师的备课上课的预测进行评估，取长补短，真正达到学以致用。将知识用语用于实际生活中。
