语法：现在完成时，一般过去时，现在进行时

通过给学生创设语言情境，培养学生发现信息的能力。

让学生积极努力探索文化知识，勇于追求自己的梦想。

二、教学重、难点

a. 词汇：whether、fear b. 句型：Have you ever been to…

c.语法：现在完成时的使用。

三、学情分析

学生在第八单元已经学习了现在完成时的结构和基本用法和含义，在本单元继续学习现在完成时的have been to 句型，这些都为他们学习掌握本课的内容打下基础，使他们学会正确运用现在完成时的句子。

任务型教学法、情境交际法

五、教学过程

I. Free talk (Warming-up) T：

Hello! What’s your name? Where are you from? Do you like English？ Do you like me? Ha-ha , thank you. You speak English very well. How long have you been studying English? If you study English very well, what will you be in the future? Ss: A teacher, a translator or a tour guide? II.Presentation I) Teach new words 1. Teacher has students go over the new words first. 2. Students read the words following the teacher for twice. 3. Students read by themselves and ask for help when they don’t know.

4. Teacher check the result, ask at least ten students to read in class. （以提问式导入新课，激发学生的求知欲望。）

III. Reading（小组合作探究）

1) Please open your books and turn to Page 70.

Step one: Teacher will say we are going to learn an article about a country. Do you know what’s it about?

Students: Speak together “Singapore”

Step two: Teacher shows the video of Singapore, to let students know something about it.

Step three: Read the passage about Singapore. Answer the following questions: 1.

Where is Singapore? 2.

What languages do people speak in Singapore? 3.

What kinds of food can we eat in Singapore? 4.

What is the best time to watch animals? Why? 5.

Why is the temperature almost the same all year round? 2)

Read the passage again.

Find out the words that you don’t know how to read. 2.

Teacher plays the tape three times in order that students can listen clearly about the words. 3.

Then students read by themselves in five minutes, after that teacher check out.

3. Teacher explains the words and expressions:

For example: (1). For thousands of tourists from China, this small island in Southeast Asia is a wonderful and safe place to take a holiday. thousands of 意为“数以千计的；许许多多的”，是个表示模糊概念的词，前不可用数词。而thousand意为“一千”，表示具体数字，其前要加数词或a。

如：There are thousands of people on the street.

街上有成千上万的人。

There are two thousand students in the hall.

大厅中有一千个学生。

on the one hand 与

on the other hand 是英语中常见的固定搭配，表示

“一方面..，另一方面….”，通常用于列举某事物的两个方面。

如：On the one hand，parents should take good care of their children。On the other hand，children should

respect their parents。一方面，父母用该照顾好孩子，另一方面，孩子也要尊敬父母。

D. is; be ⅴ.Feedback Singapore is a strange country to students, so we show the pictures and the videos about it, it’s easy for students to understand. For the whole article, I plan to practice the reading skill, scanning. Because it’s very useful to improve students’ reading comprehension. By having the class, most of students can grasp the method. However, some students can not use it freely, so we need to do more exercise in future.
