Review module 2

教学目标:

1.知识目标:

(a)能掌握并运用:

“they,monkey,baby,all,zoo,tiger,lion,elephant,big,small......”等本单元的单词。

(b)大部分学生能运用本单元的重点句型:

“What’s this? It’s a/an …What are they? They’re…”对名词单复数的提问及回答。

(c)能运用“This/that ...is tall/short/big/small”这种句型来描述事物的特征。

2.能力目标:

(a)能运用所学的名词(动物名词)及核心句型:“What’s this?

It’s a /an…What are they? They’re…”来进行问答。

(b)能从视觉上运用“This/that ...is tall/short/big/small.”这个句型来描术事物的特征。

3.情感目标:

培养孩子们爱护动物的良好意识。通过情景学习,体会学习英语的快乐。

教学重点:

1. 能掌握运用关于动物的新词及重点句型:What are they? They’re …的问答。

2.能运用“This/that ...is tall/short/big/small.”这个句型来描述

事物的特征。

教学难点:

1.能区分并准确运用重点句型“What’s this? It’s a/ an …What are they? They’re…”的不同之处。

2.通过观察,能从视觉上准确地运用“This/that ...is tall/short/big/small.”这个句型来描术事物的特征。教学方法:

实物教学法,TPR教学法,情景教学法,小组合作法,游戏法。

教学准备:

PPT课件,实物等。

2.Practice the sentences(PPT和实物)

4.Play a game:guess

Ask some students to imitate animals,then the others students to guess them.(叫一些学生上台模仿动物,其他学生来猜猜:它们是什么。)

5.Use the words(big,small,tall,short,fat,thin)to describe somethings. Eg:This panda is fat.That panda is thin.

Use the sentences:This /That......is......

(出示PPT的图片,请学生来描述。)

6.Take a test

Show two books,two girls and two boys ,then ask students to practice .

Eg: This book is big. That book is small.

Step3:Practice

Pairwork(2人一小组)

Show two photos about animals.Students will use the important sentences to answer.

Step4:Consolidation(选择题,选出正确答案)
