一．教学目标

1. 学生能够掌握四会单词man(人，男人)，tall(高的)，short(矮的)，big(大的)，

small(小的)，thin(瘦的)。

2. 学生能用“This/That ... is tall/short/big/small.”句型描述动物的形态特征。

3. 培养学生热爱小动物的意识。

二．教学重难点

重点：掌握四会单词；能用“This/That ... is tall/short/big/small.”句型描述动物的形态特征。

难点：and连接两个形容词的用法以及thin单词的发音。

三．教具准备：单词卡片、教学动画、课件

四．教学过程：

I. Warming up and leading in 1. Greetings

2. Review the animals in Module 2 Unit 1 What’s this? It’s a/an... What are they? They’re ....

3. Look at Activity 1 and listen. (teach new words “tall”

“short”

“man”) 4. Listen again and repeat.

II. Task Presentation 1. 学生能够掌握四会黑体单词man(人，男人)，tall(高的)，short(矮的)，big(大的)，

small(小的)，thin(瘦的)。

2.学生能用“This/That ... is tall/short/big/small.”句型描述动物的形态特征。

III. Text learning 1.

Show the picture in Activity 2

Daming and Sam go to a circus. What do they see?

(过渡性语言：Daming和Sam去马戏团玩，他们看到了什么呢？让我们一起去看看。) 2.

Listen Activity 2 and answer. 3. Teach the new words.(big ,small, thin) 4. Listen again and repeat. Pay attention to the pronunciation and the intonation. 5. Role play. (两人一组分角色朗读课文，并注意语音语调) 6. Act it out. (邀请同学进行角色演示，分别是Sam和Daming)

7. Retell the text. （先找个别同学说，接着让全班同学一起复述）

IV. Practice 1. Let’s match.（连线题，找到3组反义词）

2. Show the picture in Activity 3 and make a pair work. （针对书上的第三部分进行练习，将图片呈现在大屏幕上，同桌之间进行练习，一人一句来练习句型This panda is …紧接着提问)

V. Task completion 展示在课前出示的动物图片,用你认为合适的形容词进行描述。（eg. This tiger is ____.）

VI. Summary and Homework Summary:（首先让同学们进行总结，接着老师出示内容，充分利用板书内容带同学们进行本节课单词与句型的回顾。）

Homework: 必做：

1.抄写四会单词

man (人，男人)，tall(高的)，short(矮的)，big(大的)，small(小的)，thin(瘦的) 3+1 2.熟读M2U2活动2课文至少两遍，争取会背诵。

选做：

用This/That ... is tall/short/big/small.句型介绍动物的形态特征，下节课汇报。
