In order to advance with the development of the new curriculum reform, so I mainly adopt the Task-based Learning Method. This is the ninth unit of the eighth grade. And this unit is to learn to ask the date in using different sentences, and grasp some key words and phrases. Besides, students will know the communicative skills of making, accepting and declining invitations. Through this part, it will cultivate students’ practical life ability, understand life knowledge, increase life experience and cultivate practical operation ability. Besides, through this part, students will know that they should know the skills of communicative.

During this lesson, I have design eight teaching steps around this Teaching reflection

lesson. First, let the students enjoy the video “ Seven Days” to arose the students’ attention. Then, Review some words and phrases. Next, present the knowledge that we will learn today. Then, let the students do some listening to train their listening skills. Then, let the students have a pair work. At last, let the students do some exercises. During the class, there are some situations that are different from the teacher’s expectations. So the teachers should be good at guiding. During this class, I focus on the improvement of self-confidence and their language level. So when the students answer the question, let the students who are skilled in English to answer the difficult questions. And the students who are poor in English study, I let them to answer the easy question. By this, it will consolidate the students confidence. In future teaching, I should pay more attention about the students’ feeling. Because interest is the best teacher for children. Besides, pair work can improve the students’ oral English and their learning skills. Through pair work, students will avoid boring rote. This part will draw their attention. However, during this class, I lack of time concept. As an English teacher, during the following class, I have to change my roles and organize every class activities more carefully. And let the students become the protagonists. Let the students truly love the classes of mine.
