Step 1.Review and Lead-in

Method: Game

Description: When teacher plays a word, students should read the word as quickly as possible. Teacher would divide the whole class into 4 groups. The group which read most quickly is the winner and teacher would give it one score.

Example: When teacher plays the word “panda’’, the group

which read it most quickly is the winner and teacher would give it one score.

Step 2. Presentation

Method:Games

Description:When teacher presents the pictures,teacher will teach students the new words “man, tall, short, big, small, fat, thin’’and the sentences “This panda is fat. That panda is thin.

This monkey is tall. That monkey is short.

This tiger is big. That tiger is small.’’

Step 3.Practices

3.1 Catch the planes

Description: When teacher plays a plane, students should read the word as quickly as possible. Teacher would divide the whole class into 4 groups. The group which read most quickly is the winner and teacher would give it one score.

3.2Do and say

Description: Look at the pictures,students should describe them by using the new words and sentences.

Example: Student A: This panda is fat. That panda is thin . 3.3 Fill in the blanks

Description: Students should fill in the blanks according to the pictures.
