本单元围绕“Invitations”这一话题。Section B 进一步拓展了此话题，借助日历引出日期的表达方式呈现相关的词汇和短语，依据时间表对活动进行细化。

1a-1f部分通过听说活动拓展单元话题，巩固目标语言的运用。活动1a要求写出一周的对应日期，活动1b复习weekend, today, yesterday, the day before yesterday, 拓展weekday, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow等新词汇。活动1c借用1a和1b的信息进行操练对日期提问的句型What’s today? It’s….活动1d-1e是结合日期等相关信息进行听力检测。活动1f是听力的延续，让学生将听到的信息用角色扮演的方式进行语言输出。

二、教学目标

知识技能目标：

通过视频情景式导入和学生小组内互动的形式，复习、巩固邀请类话题下的词汇句型。
