一、教学目标：

1. 语言知识目标：

1) 能掌握以下单词：culture,famous, appear, become, rich, successful, might, main,reason, common, film,unlucky, lose, girlfriend ,ready,be ready to, character,simple A.能掌握以下词汇的用法：

① come out 出版，发行，开放

② be ready to do sth. 准备去做某事

③as...as与...一样；not so...as 与...不一样

B.能掌握以下句型：

①One of the main reasons is that Mickey was like a common man.

②However, he was always ready to try his best.

③People today expect to see more than just a little mouse fighting bad guys.

2) 能了解以下语法：

动词不定式结构做动词的宾语；后面接动词不定式做宾语的动词。

3）会陈述自己的看法；学会谈论自己的喜好。

三、教学过程

Step1. Lead-in

Simple topic: Do you like watching TV?

How do you like cartoons? Step2. Pre-reading 观看视频，引出卡通形象Mickey Mouse.激活学生的背景知识，为后面的阅读活动做准备,并完成任务2a.

Step3.While-reading

1.运用skimming（略读）阅读技能，快速阅读文章并获取文章大意，在此活动中，教者对语篇中单词进行解释说明：

culture, famous, appear, become, rich, successful, might, main,reason, common, film, unlucky, lose, girlfriend ,ready,be ready to, character, simple;

之后，让学生以时间为序，完成任务2b.

2.Group reading

学生分组按照语篇段落进行阅读，教者对语篇进行一定的讲解和分析，让学生快速找到相关问题的答案，以达成理解语篇的目的，并完成任务2c. Step4.Post- reading

Read the passage again. This time you should discuss the questions with a partner.Ss talk about their answers.

教者范读本语篇，帮助学生纠正语篇中的发音问题。然后要求学生带着多媒体展示的五个问题再次认真阅读短文的内容，与同伴讨论这些问题，在短文中找出相关问题的回答依据。综合短文内容与题目内容，确定最为贴切的答案，同时完成2d任务。

Step5.Summary Topic：Why do people like Mickey Mouse? 教者在总结时，和学生一同说出Mickey Mouse的特点，最后引导学生达成共识：都希望能成为一个有修养，乐于助人的新时代的Mickey Mouse。
