一、教学目标：

知识与技能：本课以Lisa搬到一个新小区居住，由于不熟悉路况向Kate问路为主题情景，引出要学习的目标语言Go down this street and turn right at the traffic lights. Then you can see the bookshop on the left. 过程与方法：通过师生、生生之间的对话，学生自主感知、模仿、理解和体验，学会运用表示问路、指路等功能的语句在真实语境中进行交际。

情感态度与价值观：培养学生热爱家乡和自己居住的社区的积极情感，以及热情、礼貌待人、乐于助人的态度。

二、教学重点：能够理解并模仿本课对话进行交际。

三、教学难点：能够运用表示问路、指路等功能的语句在真实语境中进行交际。

四、学情分析：学生通过第10课的学习，已经掌握了有关问路和指路的简单句型和相关短语。本课主要是让学生在真实情境中进行语言交际。

五、教学过程：

Step1.热身/复习（Warm-up/Revision）

1. Greeting 2. Sing a song 3. Review some phrases

Step2.新课呈现（Presentation）

1）用课件呈现出小区的图片，和两个主人公Kate 和Lisa，然后让学生带着问题观看第一遍视频：

1. Who is new in the community?

2.When did Lisa move here? 2）观看第二遍视频并跟读，回答三个问题：

1.Where is Lisa going? 2.How will Lisa go there? 3.Does Kate know the way? 3）具体强调路线并在板书上画出，让3名学生描述一下：

Go down this street, and turn right at the traffic lights .Then you can see the bookshop on the left. 4)讲解句型：How long does it take to go there on foot?
