Learning English Lesson 7 of unit two in the fifth book of elementary English published by Hebe education, it’s the five grade of a dialogue teaching class. The unit mainly focuses on the theme of my country and English-speaking countries, and the main goal is to let students learn more about China and other western countries. Lesson 7 China is the first lesson of the unit. It is to have students acknowledge the sentence pattern of map, language, the capital city and flag, and let students use the learnt knowledge creatively to do verbal communication. Compared with the lower grade students, the elementary grade five students possess a strong ability of self exploration, and better observation skills, thinking and language application, with a strong sense of curiosity and a hands-on ability. They like getting knowledge through self quest, as in the process of playing, doing, thinking, using. This class is based on the grade five students’ psychological

characteristics, to enforce emotional interaction and thought communication between teachers and students, students themselves as well. Lesson7 China

is the teaching content of the first grade English grade five of grade three of the new curriculum standard of Hebei Province. According to the requirements of the primary English curriculum standard, the teachers should face all the students in the course of the implementation of the curriculum design. The students are the main body in the goal setting, the teaching process, the curriculum evaluation and the development of the teaching resources. Thinking, take full consideration of the students' knowledge base, ability, experience and learning needs, pay attention to the emotions of each student, stimulate their interest in learning English, help them build a sense of achievement and confidence in learning, and make them develop comprehensive language use ability in the process of learning, improve their humanistic quality, enhance their practical ability and cultivate them.
