I had a birthday party at home on December 1st.I invited many friends to my home. The time was from 6:00 pm to 9:00pm. We had

delicious food and drinks. We talked about a lot of things and people that we remembered

and saw. We sang and danced happily. But two of my friends ,Peter and Amy, didn’t come to my party. Peter was away on business in Shanghai. Amy had to looked after her son Sam in the hospital. Her son had a bad cold in hospital two days ago. We spent happily together. I had a meaningful birthday party. Answer the questions according the passage above in groups 1.When was the birthday? 2.How long did the party last? 3.Who didn’t take part in the party? Why?
