The eighth graders have been learning English for almost two years. Most of them are interested in English. They are active in class and they can co-operate well with their partners.

They have already learned many reading skills as well. Because they are interested in pictures, I will use the multi-media properly to motivate students’ interests.

◆Teaching aims

The aims of knowledge:

Students get to understand and know how to use the following words and phrases:

The aims of ability First, students are able to talk about the different kinds of single-use products online and the ways to avoid the influence of them. Students will understand that everything has two sides. When we face different cultures, we should discard the bad and retain the good.
